Mana Kai 601, Best Location in Building, on Best Beach

Location! Location! Location! The Mana Kai Resort is located right on one of the nicest beaches on Maui. It is 'Right There' on the beach with an unobstructed ocean view!!! Just fade off to sleep to the sounds of the surf. The ocean water is warm and clear, and the snorkeling is great.

Our condo is Mana Kai 601 which is a 'Superior' unit. In addition, all of the Mana Kai units have great ocean views from one bedroom, but the only Mana Kai units with unobstructed ocean views from both bedrooms are the units closest to the ocean and ending on “01”. Our condo has great ocean views from both bedrooms. In addition, in the "01" units, the walkway to the front door does not go past the bedroom window, so there is additional privacy in these units. Once again, location is key, and Mana Kai 601 has the location!

Mana Kai 601 has air conditioning throughout the unit.

The condo has been very nicely renovated and we are constantly upgrading the unit so it stays in great condition.

The resort also features a beautiful oceanfront swimming pool in a tropical garden setting, as well as the fabulous "808 General Store". There is also a BBQ area available on the grounds for guest use. On the ground floor, there is a beach rental shop in case you would like to rent bikes, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, etc... To top it all off, the world-class golf courses of Wailea and Makena are minutes away.

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium is ideal for your Maui vacation. It has a full kitchen for the times that you want to stay in and have an ocean view dinner on the large lanai. Beach and Bath Towels are provided. In addition, the condo has FREE HIGH SPEED WIFI INTERNET ACCESS. You will also have a free reserved parking spot.

Renovation of our new restaurant, "The Beach House at Mana Kai", is set to begin early in 2026. Handcrafted Restaurants (a Peter Merriman owned company) recently received its building permit from Maui County, and we’re excited to see this project take shape. While the restaurant won’t be open until late 2026 (or later if the project is delayed), its completion will significantly enhance the dining options for future stays. We look forward to offering this incredible amenity to our guests soon.

The Mana Kai is located at the extreme south end of Kihei, a few hundred yards down the beach from the Wailea border.

The location was exceptional and delivered amazing views throughout the day. The beachfront area is the best swimming and snorkeling location we found in the area. The bed was very comfortable, the AC did a great job keeping the place cool, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. My only complaint is the "starter" supply of toilet paper was a single roll even with two bathrooms. So do bring your own tp!

Best Beach in Maui

The view from this condo is spectacular, we were able to snorkel most days RIGHT THERE - nice big reef - - and as a condo, cook your own breakfast, lunch and go out for the odd supper. Great place.

Great Stay Great Place

Very nice place however it could use a few more upgrades, could use a new kitchen sink fixture, and shower fixture. Fridge could be upgraded as well. AC in bedroom 2 didn’t cool the bedroom. That being said you could certainly not have a more perfect view and very relaxing place to be, could watch the whales spraying in the bay, and snorkeling right over the Lanai

Great place to stay

This is the 4th time we've stayed in a condo in this building. This was the best of the lot. The sound of the surf lulled us to sleep each night. The beds were comfortable. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and swimming noodles were provided. Thank you!The kitchen was equipped better than any condo kitchen I've rented in the last 30 years. The knives were sharp!!!Thank you very much. We'd definitely stay here again.

BEST CONDO IN MANA KAI

From the communication before we arrived, the well equipped kitchen, to the sound of the ocean outside the window, this is the best experience we have had at the Mana Kai (our 5th visit!). We will be back!

Best location in Maui

We have stayed at this particular property a few times and in different units in building. It never fails to impress. You can’t get a better location in Maui Out oldest son lives in Maui and suite definitely has enough room to host the grandkids for a few sleepovers. The pool is great for families and is a great addition to the beach right on your door step

Great beach and responsive host

This condo unit was well equipped with everything we needed and it was all in great shape (ie the pots and pans were still in great condition). The beds were comfortable and we just love the lanai in the mornings for the sunrise and evenings for the sunset. The condo itself could use an update but it lacks nothing. I would’ve given this a 5-star stay but for the air conditioner in the main unit has a difficult time keeping the place cool at night if you don’t keep the main doors shut during the day - we ended up sleeping in the second bedroom where the ac worked fantastic in the smaller space. Also a ton of jack hammering going on in the main lobby that really resonated into the unit. Not the owners fault we know but hard to spend a lot of money on a vacation and have construction going on in the building at the same time. Also the condo restaurant is under a large renovation and looks like it will be awhile before that is back up and running as FYI.

Wonderful Maui Vacation

I stayed in the condo with my parents and girlfriend, and we all really enjoyed our time there. The unit has a split setup, with a central studio-style primary + bath attached to the kitchen and living room, and a second bedroom + bath down the hallway, and a set of doors in between. Great views from the primary and guest room, and the building is in an easily accessible location. The owner was easy-going and communicative throughout the booking and stay. Overall I highly recommend staying here.

Simply gorgeous

Wonderful 5 night stay at Mana Kai. Suite size room was perfect for our family of five and our corner unit provided 360 degree views. Easy and quick access to the ocean, beach and pool. Easily accessible to great restaurants in Kihei or Wailea. Hope we can come back in the future, highlyrecommended!

3rd trip to Maui

Condo and location are great, 3rd time in Maui , ist time in winter. water in Ocean is a little colder, waves and swells much stronger making cloudy conditions for snorkeling at times, but to see Humpback whales breaching everyday was a once in a life time experience.

We love this location, great beach, great views. Very clean. The only thing Id change is to put a bar height table and chairs on the patio so you can enjoy the view without looking through the bars and railings
