The great part of this property is the location: right across the street from Kamaole II. It has beautiful grounds, with a little fountain. The swimming pool was not bad. One downside of the apartment was the glass windows that separated the master bedroom from the pull out couch. That didn't give us a lot of privacy. I left some cardboard that I used to create privacy. There was a bit of a smell in the master bathroom. Cleaning of things like the shower wall and the vent above the toilet were poor. The big downside were the cockroaches. There were adults and nymphs in the kitchen, in the drawers, in the bathroom closest to the kitchen. The whole Maui Banyan property gets treatments every Wednesday, but obviously the pest control is ineffective. The tea kettle was a horrifying cemetery for cockroaches. I hope it gets replaced. We notified the manager and hope they improve this, and the manager was kind enough to process a small refund for our troubles.

We were a little disappointed in this condo. Description said it was remodeled - it did have newer flooring and perhaps some new bathroom tile. But old fixtures in sinks and showers which were desperately in need of change. TV’s were difficult to figure out and window coverings were terrible. On the bright side it had all the supply’s we needed And the owner was very responsive.

Basic accommodations in a great location. Walk to the beach with provided beach chairs. Walking to lots of shops and restaurants. Great sunsets! Bathrooms could have been a little bit cleaner, there were cleaning products under the sinks. Very little provided for starters so bring your own coffee to get yourself started.Parking place very close to unit but a very tight fit if your rental is an suv. Overall good place for the price.

Great location, very quiet

Communication with the owner was very good. My only comment was the unit did not have a cooler or cooler bag to take your food to the beach or a road trip, it would have been nice to have one, so you will need to buy or bring your own. I did ask the owner and he did not provide one. There was only two beach towels; however, plenty of dishes, cookware and flatware.

Great condo and great location

I found the place to be nicer than the photos would make it seem. Spacious and clean with a comfortable king bed in the bedroom. The large doors open to the lanai which is more than adequate for breakfast while taking in ocean views. The Maui Banyan complex is nice and well maintained. Kids liked the pool (there are two identical pool areas) and hot tubs. You are right across from a fantastic beach. Walk a little south and you are at some good snorkelling spots with turtles, fish, and colourful reefs. Unit is close to the elevator/stairs, two flights down to the office and pool. Would stay again.

Fantastic location

My husband and I stayed a week and really enjoyed the condo. It’s just right across the street from the beach (beautiful sunsets) and so close to restaurants and shopping. The condo was clean and 2 bathrooms is perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Great vacation

Condo was clean, quiet, updated and very well stocked. Bed was great. I was told it is scheduled for new paint after we leave. A fresh coat of paint will make it even better. Beach and some restaurants are in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Our overall stay was good; however, we had some problems with checking in late at night and our designated parking stall was taken and there were no “free” stalls left. So we ended up having to park down the road and around the corner. Front staff were “unsure” what to do with the vehicle the next morning when we talked to them. I ended up having to contact the condo owner. Eventually, it was moved. There was no cooler in the room so we ended up buying a small one and leaving it there. Also had to ask for more toilet paper a week before the end of our stay and we’re denied so ended up having to buy more rolls than what we needed. They were adamant they left 2 extra rolls in each bathroom but there was only 1 extra in one of the bathrooms. We stayed for 3 weeks. Kinda disappointed that we couldn’t get an extra roll of cheap toilet paper. The room was spacious but if you are looking to sit out on the lanai comfortably, it is very long but very narrow in width and was hard to get around the furniture. Air conditioners worked great and so did the ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living room. All appliances were in good working order.
