Building B is the premier beachfront building at Makena Surf, set among lush tropical gardens. From our condo (B202), gaze endlessly at the ocean, watch the whales breach (seasonal), experience magical sun sets, step onto the beach to swim or snorkel with the turtles or play in the waves on a boogie board. Our condo fronts a long, sandy beach with dramatic black lava rock outcroppings that will take your breath away! You will get sweeping views of the Pacific and unobstructed views of Molokini crater and the islands of Kaho'olawe and Lanai. It has been fully remodeled and represents island luxury at its best. Grill on the lanai (deck), cook in the kitchen, or just relax and let the Hawaiian Aloha vibe take over. The pool and jacuzzi are steps from the front door, tennis and pickleball courts and fitness room are a few more steps away on the property. Two luxury golf courses are less than a mile away. About a mile away, you can rent kayaks and Stand-Up Paddleboards. Upscale Wailea shops and restaurants are about 2 miles away, and many other dining options abound within 5 miles.

We use eco-friendly cleaners and detergents that are better for your health and for the health of the planet. We also provide personal products (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap) that are eco-friendly and free of toxic chemicals so you don't have buy any for your stay. Perfect Location

This is a great property at a beautiful, oceanfront location in Mākena. A short swim to turtle bay where we saw turtles while snorkeling. We saw whales from the balcony. We look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful location- right next to Turtle Town!

My family loved this location in Maui-we enjoyed the close proximity to both the beach and pool, as well as spending time out on the balcony. I did not realize when I’d booked that the rocky area to the left of the beach (you’ll need to snorkel along that rocky area out to the middle between the two beach areas) that this was Turtle Town (or something similar)!! The rafting snorkel tours would stop in daily to give their snorkelers a good view of the turtles because there is a natural cleaning station there- a special kind of fish who clean the turtles’ shells. My family loves snorkeling and had brought our own gear and it was great to be able to snorkel there whenever we wanted. The condo was great and just as described.

Family vacation

Wow! The location was amazing. You are close to shopping and restaurants but the location was quiet and serene. Easy drive to almost all locations and activities. The best part was only being steps away from swimming with turtles every morning! I was a bit nervous booking a big trip for the first time with Vrbo. However, our host was extremely easy to email and responded usually in just a few minutes. I would not hesitate to return to this condo in the future Greg

Beautiful home and location!

This was an absolutely beautiful home and location. The proximity to such a great beach for snorkeling and playing in the ocean was a huge upside. The owners and on-island manager Christine were fantastic. We forgot a backpack in the unit after checkout and Christine saved us from missing our flight which was tremendously appreciated. The only thing not incredible is the beds are some of the firmest any of us ever felt in our lives, so we ended up putting a 3” foam pad from Costco on top after the first night which totally saved it. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Simply wonderful

This condo is amazing. It is in a great location and the beach is wonderful. Never crowded, great snorkeling, and we saw turtles everyday we went swimming. It is close enough to Kihei to shop, eat, and explore other beaches. The sunset view from the lanai cannot be beat. The hosts had the condo well stocked with everything you could need, including beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and beach towels. They responded quickly to any questions we had and checkin/checkout was a breeze. Paradise!

Makena Surf is our favorite property and Manish and Superna have a beautiful 2 BR unit. They are accommodating and provide great tips for things to do on the island. Their unit is our first choice for a 2BR.

Wonderful Views

The unit is on the second floor of a three-story building with beautiful views of the beach and ocean. Sunsets were magic! The beach is lovely and easy to navigate be it snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, or boogie boarding. The bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, soap, and nice towels. The kitchen is also easy to navigate with pretty much everything you might need. There is also plenty of beach gear. Due to flight cancellations and delays, we arrived very late and had trouble getting into the condo but were able to reach the property manager and get it resolved quickly. All our communication was easy and helpful which we appreciated. We did have quite a bit of construction going on during our stay but we were informed ahead of time and did our best to work around it. We would stay here again

Most amazing views ever

Makena Surf B202 was amazing. The property was just as described in the listing. However, I will say that no description can do justice to the views from the patio. The condo was clean, organized and had everything we needed for the week. The management company and owners were so helpful with any questions we had and very communicative with us. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay that is very well taken care of, B202 is your place. We can't wait to book another trip there.

Absolutely stunning views!

Wailea is a beautiful area where this condo is located. It is very quiet here. As you walk in the front door, the views capture your attention right away. The sunsets are spectacular. This condo was perfect in every way. For two couples, it worked out very well.

We enjoyed our stay at Makena Surf! The view is unreal! We loved sitting out on the lanai and the very short walk to the beach below was amazing. This beautiful condo is situated right on the beach, facing west, allowing for breathtaking sunsets. It is well cared for, clean and updated with modern furnishings and appliances. It is stocked with all dishes, cookware, utensils and small appliances that you might need to prepare meals at the condo. There are plenty of towels (even beach towels) provided. I really enjoyed looking at the owners’ photographic art on the walls. Snorkeling was awesome off the beach in front of the condo
lots of turtles and colorful fish. The waves were higher the last two days and the kids (age 22 and 23) enjoyed using the supplied boogie boards : ) There were also very nice beach chairs and umbrellas we used most days. We didn’t end up going to the pool/hot tub, but it was right outside the front door and looked very nice. We have stayed in a lot of beachfront condos over the years, and this one has the best view we have ever seen. Overall, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Great Makena condo for our family vacation!

Fantastic condo in a very nice development in Makena. Even better than the pictures, and ideal for our family of four. The condo is very well maintained and the owner has clearly thought of everything one could need, including beach gear and pickle ball equipment. We loved the place so much that we found ourselves just hanging out at the condo and taking in the incredible views of Molokini from the deck rather than running around the island, which made for a very relaxing vacation. Loved snorkeling with the turtles right out in front of the condo! Excellent communication from the owner and the property manager throughout the process made for a seamless experience. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful oceanfront condo

Enjoyed our stay in this clean, well equipped condo that had everything. Great communication with hosts. Especially appreciated the prep and check in by the property manager before and during the big December storm to make sure we were ok.

Phenomenal Property

I had very high expectations of the property based on the description and they were summarily exceeded. Views from the balcony were amazing, great snorkeling with turtles right off the beach area, and a nice private beach area really stood out. Absolutely would stay again!

Wonderful condo at Makena Surf

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. Great location in quieter Makena Surf. Beach a two min walk from condo. Pool even closer. Wonderful sunsets. Condo well appointed with everything you need. No complaints. Loved it.
