Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 2.0 Bathrooms, (Sleeps 6)
Imagine sitting on your front porch in a rocking chair, listening to the waves crashing on the beach. This lovingly restored and beautifully appointed, 1970’s beach box will transport you back to the good ol’ days while providing you all the amenities you desire in your home away from home in the Outer Banks.

This three-bedroom, two-bath cottage is located just down the street from beach access and sits only 4 houses away from the ocean. Enjoy a view of the waves from the front porch!

Equipped with cable, WIFI, flat screen TVs (4), an expansive front porch, outdoor living spaces, a well-stocked kitchen, and a washer and dryer, Tommy Tautog’s has everything you need to enjoy easy beach living except your bathing suits and beach towels! Other linens (bedding, bath towels and washcloths) are provided by an independent vendor – the beds will be made when you arrive!

While the proximity to the beach is excellent, you’ll also find that this little gem on Walker Street offers easy access to the Avalon Pier and other great local attractions as well.

Our awesome caretakers, Mike and Lisa, are just as committed to your experience as we are!

Wonderful rental! Only a short walk to the beach (1/2 a block at most). Perfectly designed for a renter who wants to use it as a launching pad for the beach, fishing off Avalon pier, and a host of other activities. And it's centrally located off the strip and the beach road to visit any of the shops and restaurants on either. Definitely will consider this property for a future rental!

We had such a wonderful week here! The house was in the perfect location—close to everything we needed and a very short walk from the beach. Everything was clean when we arrived, and you can tell the owners take great care of the property. It had all the amenities we needed, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time. Wonderful location. Very quick access to the beach. Comes with several amenities such as beach chairs, sand toys for the kids, beach buggy etc. The home was clean and comfortable. Certainly a great spot for a family who will be visiting the beach often. It is also close to several grocery stores, restaurants, the wright brothers museum, gift shops, etc. We enjoyed our stay, and will certainly keep this home on our short list of places to consider staying at in OBX!

We had a wonderful trip. The location couldn't be better. Not only are you so close to the beach but Kill Devil Hills is pretty much in the middle of the Outer Banks. Lots of restuarants and easy trips North to Duck or South to Cape Hatteras. Jason, our Property Manager, always got right back to me and took his time to take career of us. THANK YOU!

Amazing OBX location

We really enjoyed this house, the accommodations were perfect for a family of 5. The walk to the beach was very easy--we were close to the Wright Brothers' memorial and Jockey's Ridge. We were only 30 minutes from Roanoke Island and Duck. This is a really great base for exploring the Outer Banks and we would stay here again.
