Beautiful Oceanside beach home between the highways! Location, Location! Your family will love this clean and refreshed Coastal Cottage located close to the beach between the highways in Kill Devil Hills with beautiful ocean views! Very short walk to the beach! Book early, once you enjoy your stay you will want to return.

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a covered carport with 6 person hot tub for relaxing, enjoy the shade and cool breezes and the outside shower. Large picnic table for convenience for those meals cooked on the gas grill. Renters storage closet which contains additional beach chairs, sand toys and beach cart. Entry Level. Inside you'll find a King Master Bedroom with TV and private bathroom. Laundry area with full size washer and dryer. Access to back and front decks.

Mid Level: Large open floor plan for family and friends to gather with a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar seating 3 and dining table seating for 6. King Master Bedroom with TV, private bathroom with double sinks, full tub and shower and access to the back deck and crows nest with ocean views. Second King Bedroom with TV, Bedroom with 2 Singles and a full hall bathroom with shower and tub. All bedrooms with ceiling fans. Back deck with heat resistant, poly-design high-top dining table to enjoy your mornings and evenings with family and friends.

Top Level: Roof-top crow's nest deck with 2 heat resistant poly-design bar height chairs with cocktail table to enhance your ocean views over the balcony and park your favorite beverage of choice!

Extras: Hot Tub, 4 TVs, gas grill, wireless high speed internet, outside shower, crow's nest deck with ocean views, carport/decks with Adirondack chairs and linens and towels provided. No Smoking. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Gas fireplace is not available for guest use.

This property was perfect for us. We have stayed in this area 2 prior occasions and this house was the best so far! Plenty of space, multiple bathrooms and easy access to everything! Thank you for a wonderful stay! The only thing I’ll add is to bring a lighter for the birthday candles:)

Great Family Vacation

Our family loved the layout of this home, the short walk to the beach, and proximity to restaurants and other fun activities. The house had a fantastic outdoor shower, and two of the indoor showers weren’t even used! The outdoor patios were wonderful for sitting out in the evenings, there was a gas grill that we used for burger night, and lots of usable beach supplies! The beds were very comfortable, and the bedrooms were spacious. We will definitely return to the KD5 cottage when returning to OBX. We had a mechanical issue with the hot water heater, I emailed the rental company and the issue was handled immediately. A great experience overall!

Loved this house!

This home was perfect for our family! Large bedrooms, open concept family room/kitchen with dining area. Up to date furnishings/appliances. We loved the decks and enjoyed the hot tub. Easy walk to the beach and some cute local coffee and ice cream shops.

Great Stay!!

House was great, very clean and spacious for 7 people, and plenty of bathrooms. Good location, quiet neighborhood, coffee and smoothie shops a block away. Short walk to the beach and Paradise Fun Park across the highway. Definitely would book again.

OBX Vacation

The house was great- spacious and close to the beach as well as restaurants. We had some issues at check in with the provided code - it would not open the door, but we called and the manager of the Kitty Hawk office reset it remotely and even came out to help.

We had a great time and loved the home. The location was perfect for us. The only issue we ran into was there were minimal items for cooking in the home. Otherwise, everything was great.

Nice, spacious rental home

We enjoyed the open kitchen, dining and living area in this home. Everyone congregated in this area when we weren’t at the beach or sightseeing. The bedrooms were spacious so you had ample room to move around in there. We really enjoyed the porch areas; one in the front of the house and the area at the back of the house. We would stay here again the next time we are in the Outer Banks.

We really enjoyed the location and hot tub. We did have to reach out to the property manager twice to have the downstairs bathroom cleaned it was not touched at all after prior guest stay from the looks, shower liners that had mildew changed and the one of the comforters swapped, as it was stained all over. I feel as though with the pandemic a little extra attention could have gone into the cleaning. We did appreciate that the owners sent us a basket with a fee local treats, that was a nice touch. I would definitely use this property management company in the future as they were responsive and professional.

Perfect house

We loved this home. Lots of room to spread out and very comfortable spaces. Hot tub was great. Owners sent a thank you basket with treats which was so sweet. Easy walk to the beach and quiet street would certainly stay again

Perfect Spot

This house is a very short walk to the beach and on a quiet street; can't beat that combo. All of the adults and kids enjoyed the spacious, well equipped home. Love the hot tub and grill. Several decks provide spots for sunshine all times of the day.

Fantastic

There were no reviews when I booked this house but decided to take a chance. We absolutely loved the place! It's much nicer than the photos show. The upper deck has great views and the hot tub was a hit with the young adults.

Family vaca

Great clean house that is a 2 minute walk to the beach. Next time I might stay in corrolla or duck but there was a lot to do that was walking distance (coffee, smoothie, mini golf etc). We had a great experience and a great time. In this time of Covid, we found it easy to socially distance here, find outdoor dining, and most people wore masks.

Nearly perfect

The unit was quite nice. Had to deal with a couple of spiders, but that was all. 4 king beds, 2 twin beds. All with clean sheets. Towels for everyone in every room. Nice size rooms. I will say that the internet was not always working. We had a great time together as a family! Even tho we had to deal with covid 19, we were able to keep busy doing almost everything we wanted to. We ate out twice as a unit. Enjoyed one day to ourselves hiking, exploring and shopping. Flew kites, played frisbee, built 4 puzzles, enjoyed what maybe the best homemade ice cream ever at Big Bucks, rode go-karts and bumper cars, and played miniature golf. Great week!
