Hector’s House is located in a converted former mill in Kilrush, a few steps from Kilrush Marina. We have refurbished the entire apartment and updated all of the furniture. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could need to enjoy your holiday.

The Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen are open plan and have been tastefully decorated and furnished to ease you into the holiday mood.

The living room has a large three seat sofa, two arm chairs and foot stool. There is a wall mounted Sharp 55 inch Smart HDTV in the Living Room that has EIR TV, Apple TV, Netflix and PrimeTV onboard. You just need to log in to your own AppleTV, Netflix or PrimeTV account on arrival.

To help you stay connected during your stay, we are pleased to offer complimentary fibre broadband of 100mbps at Hector’s House. This is excellent for streaming, staying in touch and home-office if you absolutely need to... Double electical sockets with USB ports have been installed in the living area, kitchen and bedrooms for ease of charging phones and other devices whilst relaxing.

We have also provided an Alexa Dot, so that you can listen to music or your favourite radio station or local radio Clare FM whilst relaxing on holiday.

The dining room has a large oak table with six chairs. There is also a Juliette balcony that overlooks the central courtyard, offering the opportunity to catch the early afternoon sunshine.

The brand new Ikea kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, 4 ring touch hob, integrated microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is also a washer/dryer. Six place settings of crockery, cutlery and glassware are provided. Pots and Pans a-plenty so it's even possible to cook a Sunday Roast if you want to... Dare we say, there is even an iron and ironing board incase you feel the need.

The master bedroom has a 5ft King Size Oak Bed, complete with a sports thermo-sensitive memory foam mattress. Power sockets adjacent to each side of the bed are equipped with USB ports to keep your phone or tablet charged and to hand while you sleep. The master bedroom also has an ensuite shower room with power shower, toilet and wash basin. The mirror in the en-suite features simulated ‘daytime’ lighting and is equipped with Bluetooth so that you can listen to your favourite tunes whilst in the shower! A hairdryer with conveniently located electrical outlet below the mirror is also provided.

The second bedroom has a 4’6” double bed, complete with sports thermo-sensitive memory foam mattress. An ideal room for an adult couple, we have provided multi-USB sockets in this room to keep PEDs charged up for the day ahead.

The main bathroom has a bath tub and over-bath shower. There is also a toilet and wash basin. An touch-free LED mirror with anti-fog is provided.

Freshly laundered bed linen is provided for your stay. If you are staying two weeks, please speak to us about organising a change of bed linen after your first week. We are happy to deliver fresh bed linen to you. Guests are reminded to bring their own beach towels with them as these are not provided.

Hectors House is located on the first floor, and has both stair and elevator access. The apartment is located in a residential area, adjacent to Kilrush Marina and Shops.

We think that Hectors House is the perfect holiday home-from-home for families or couples - or even two couples! We hope you enjoy staying in a part of West Clare history and our very comfortable holiday home.
