Thoughtfully decorated to pay homage to its 1964 roots, it offers today's modern comforts with yesteryear's retro vibe and is located just one mile from Auntâs Creek Park, Campground and Boat Launch and near many exciting attractions the Branson Area has to offer, including Silver Dollar City, Dogwood Canyon, wonderful restaurants, world-class shows and outlet shopping galore. THE SPACE
Our fun and funky cabin maximizes every inch of its approximate 400 square feet, making it cozy and efficient while still providing a surprisingly large list of amenities. Whip up something tasty in the kitchen, which is fully decked out to delight even the pickiest of chefs, before unwinding in the living area. It is separated from the second bedroom by a partition, thus allowing the natural light to flood the entire space making it feel bright and open. Kick back and chat with your friends and family playing games at the kitchen table or binge-watch your current Netflix obsession on the 50 inch Smart TV. Soak up the afternoon sun and enjoy stargazing at night from the large deck out back, a magical space with twinkling patio lights and comfy furniture where you can chill out after a full day of exciting activities on the resort or adventuring out and about. Toast some marshmallows for s'mores on your charcoal grill and stay up late, sharing laughter and stories into the wee hours of the morning.

THE VIBE AND BACK STORY
Walking into this cabin for the first time was like a blast from the past. Everything from the wood paneling, the white-with-gold-glitter Formica countertops, and even the way it smelled reminded me of some of the best times of my childhood. Every year my family would rent a cabin at the lake in resorts just like this one with another family, longtime friends of my parents. Whether we were out on the boat all day, swimming off the dock or in the pool, waiting for the dads to grill our dinner, or roasting s'mores (with actual sticks!), that week was just magical. The cabins weren't big, but they didn't need to be, because we were only in them to sleep, change into and out of our suits, eat and play Memory or Trivial Pursuit at the table after dinner. Not every cabin was equipped with a TV but we rarely, if ever, were indoors to watch TV anyway. "If you're at the lake and sitting in the cabin staring at the 'boob-tube' all day, then you're doing it wrong!" In an effort to nostalgically recapture that laid back, easy feeling I renovated and decorated the cabin with great intention in a distinctly retro way. I tried to keep many of the original features and materials of the cabin, upcycling and recycling wherever possible, though I did freshen them up with newer finishes. Vintage furniture, linens, dishes, décor, books, magazines, toys, small appliances and even wardrobe and accessory items have been carefully procured to transport you to a simpler time. Whether you're looking to relive some childhood memories, reproduce them with your kids and grandkids or simply create some new memories with mid-century flair, Hideaway Heydays 6 is the place for you!

Guests are welcome to the entire home (half duplex) except for any locked cabinets or lockers for the cleaning crew.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
* COVID-19 Sanitization: The health, safety and well-being of our guests are of the utmost importance. Accordingly, we use a professional cleaning crew to follow a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
* PETS: Though we adore those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy, sadly our home is unable to accommodate them. There are local boarding options available nearby that we can happily refer.
* SMOKING / TOBACCO / VAPING: Please refrain from vaping, chewing and smoking of any kind inside the home! Any smoking or spitting evidence will result in additional fees including odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.
* PARTIES / EVENTS / HORSEPLAY: Please refrain from parties and reckless behavior. We kindly ask you to treat our home as you would your own in order to preserve its condition for future guests and your return visits. We greatly appreciate your understanding.
