All vehicles must be parked in the driveway and/or garage at all times. Guest must agree to read and comply with Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies.

County Rules
As part of the Short-Term Rental Permit for this home, the county asks that we share the important rules and regulations with you. We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines listed below, also included in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement.

Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.

Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway.

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week. Per the County: No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. Amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time.

Lights Out: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors at night.

Red Flag Warnings: Due to high risk of wildfire in our area, bonfires, charcoal barbecues, and wood-burning fire pits are always prohibited. On designated Red Flag Warning Days—when fire danger is especially severe due to dry conditions and high winds—all outdoor fires are prohibited, including gas grills and gas fire pits. These restrictions come directly from the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and must be followed for everyone's safety. It is each guest's responsibility to stay informed about Red Flag Warnings. They are announced on local news, radio, and social media, and you'll also see signs posted at fire stations throughout the area.

Winter Driving: Many highways, access roads, and driveways in the Tahoe area can become icy during the winter. For your safety, it's essential that between November 1st and April 30th your vehicle is winter-ready. Make sure brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater, and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires should be properly inflated with excellent tread, and you should always carry tire chains—even if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Double-check that your chains fit your tires and are in good working order. On many state highways and county roads, four-wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel.
Please be prepared for winter conditions: dress appropriately, stay in bounds at ski resorts and if you get lost, remain in place.

Garbage & Bears: Please do not feed the bears. Black bears are very common in this area and, over time, many have become used to human food and trash. Because they no longer have a natural fear of people, you may see them during your spring, summer, or fall stay. Feeding bears is illegal, and leaving food outside, trash unsecured, or doors and windows unlocked can lead to serious property damage to both homes and vehicles. To help prevent this, all waste must be placed in bear-proof bins or dumpsters and the latches secured. Placer County sorts recycling from the waste for you at our materials recovery facilities.

Office Holiday Hours
The TTVR office is closed on New Year's Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding.

Family Winter Vacation!!!!

Pictures don't do it justice! We booked online for a family winter vacation. Exceeded our expectations in every way. Cabin feel with all the comforts of home. The Sun Room is gorgeous! The views of the lake breathtaking. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking! We had a fire in the fireplace, day & night-There is an inside wood box- no need to go out in the cold. Games, books, puzzles in the home-so nice for family night. Hot tub was an added bonus. We loved the privacy, definitely worth the money to have a home to get away from the crowds at the ski resorts. Unforgettable time in North Tahoe. Highly recommend

By far this is our favorite spot at North Lake Tahoe. It's on the beach, close to shopping, close to ski resorts, property is well maintained, communication was perfect with management, and the views were magical.

We found this place to enjoy for a quick getaway. The view is better then the pictures, by far. We were present during a storm and received a courtesy call to inform us, if the power was to go out , it would be restored shortly. It was a relaxing weekend. We definitely will return.

Peaceful, great location and views in a family-style house

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious lakefront home. The views and access to the lake and dock were unbeatable. Home is spacious, had plenty of beds, and had a multigenerational family feel. Kitchen is well-stocked. Somewhat dated furnishings and home, but it fit the lake-cabin vibe, and our 2 families thoroughly enjoyed a great visit! Communication was clear with the rental agency. We plan to return to this home!

Great property with a spectacular view of the lake. Its a time capsule that takes you back to 1970/80s. The property is much larger than the pictures make you believe so. Master bedroom has spectacular view of the deck. Only nit is that the bathrooms are super small. Highly recommend it

Weekend Rental

This house was absolutely incredible! A group of friends and I stayed for a long relaxing weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The view was breathtaking and the house itself was ideal for a large group. We opted to cook most of our meals and the kitchen had everything we might possibly need and more. The bedrooms were comfortable and warm. The living room was relaxing and great to light a fire and hang out in and play games. This house has everything, not to mention the gorgeous sunroom plus a dock AND a jacuzzi?? To top it all off, the rental agency was so nice and responsive, I would definitely book this house again.

Two families with kids ages 8-14 stayed here and it was perfect for us! The views were stunning, accommodations spacious and location super-convenient for skiing, snowshoeing and the amenities of Kings Beach. Stacy was very helpful and accommodating and made everything so easy. Highly recommend!

This place feels like a wonderful home. It's views were spectacular and the fireplace was the central meeting area. Lots of firewood and a fully stocked kitchen made our stay cosy. The heat was sometimes hard to regulate at night, but that may have been our fault. We would love to come back.

Don’t let the pictures fool you! When we first booked this cabin, we were iffy because the description was too good to be true, yet only 8 pictures? The pictures looked outdated, small, and the dock looked okay. I am glad we booked this place! The cabin was way better then the pictures! The water was full, light blue water (we were able to get a few brown trouts & crawdads for dinner!) + beautiful dock, cute clean cabin, and walking distance from Kings Beach! The sun room was by far my favorite and the jacuzzi was well taken care of. Everything in the house was stocked, from utensils to laundry detergents & even toilet papers! The cabin was so gorgeous we spent 3 days inside enjoying this amazing place. We did however ran into a problem our last night there. One of our family member went to the restroom in Bedroom2 & the flusher got stuck causing it to flood the toilet and onto the bottom floor bedroom. The family in the bottom floor bedroom ended up sleeping in the sunroom (thank god). We did not report because it was around 11pm and did not want to bother the owners at that time so we tried our best to clean & sanitize. But we did left a note so hopefully the plumping situation in restroom2 gets fixed before the next family comes (: Other than that, we are thankful to be able to enjoy this breathtaking home!

The view was amazing. House was great. Four bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Access to your own dock. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook. Definitely gonna return for another trip

Unforgettable vacation

When we first stumbled upon this house online, it seemed almost too good to be true....four bedrooms, four bathrooms. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. It was perfect foe our family of 14. The posting provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. The house is just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. The location is by the wonder end we really enjoyed the view of the lake.
