"Turtle Rock" LBJ Waterfront Lake House Cottage

“Turtle Rock” is a beatiful waterfront home conveniently located in a quiet cove on lake LBJ in Kingsland. One minute from the grocery store and darling coffee/breakfast shops and restaurants, the location can’t be beat. The home is quiet and perfect for families, tucked in the cove, you can enjoy the water without the boat waves. The home has become a guest favorite because of its charm, extremely comfortable beds and custom designer finishes. Perfect for bringing your own boat with the boat launch nearby, or rent a boat at the rental company walking distance from the home, they'll even deliver the boat right to the home. The covered porch is perfect for relaxing after a day on the lake, with comfortable outdoor furniture and peaceful views of the water. Bring your fishing poles and enjoy the connivence of fishing right off the dock in the back yard. A kayak and paddle boat are provided with the home for your enjoyment.

Fully remodeled from the 1950's, in this charming home you'll have a private master bedroom with king size pillow top mattress and on-suite bathroom with walk in shower. You'll have a guest bedroom with a queen size pillow top mattress bed and another guest room with a full/twin bunkbed with additional pullout twin bed. Another full bathroom with walk in shower is located centrally in the home for everyone's use. A fully stocked kitchen with countertop space for prepping and a farmhouse dining table to enjoy a meal together. The living room is impossible not to cozy up in after a day on the water, with a large sectional, views of the water and a smart TV. Enjoy the outdoors on the covered porch and under the large oak tree in the back yard. Fishing poles not provided but encouraged as this home is the perfect spot to enjoy some fishing. Parking spaces for 2-3 cars or enough space for a truck and boat trailer.
You'll feel very safe in this quiet neighborhood and secure keypad entry.

This home is located in a cove of the Llano arm of lake LBJ in Kingsland. At certain times of the year the water levels rise and fall. In the later summer months water levels may be lower and more stagnant in the cove. Access to the main water is less than 5 minutes at required no wake speed.

Kingsland Weekend Getaway

We had a fabulous weekend stay at Turtle Rock. The house is very comfortable and well stocked. The setting on the lake with great water views and big shade trees is beautiful and so relaxing. Everything about our stay was perfect and we highly recommend Turtle Rock!

Great property we went to for our son’s graduation weekend getaway with all of our adult children! Did not disappoint at all everything was comfortable and well stocked! Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat! Water levels were great and beautiful! One note BUG SPRAY AND CITRONELLA CANDLES are highly recommended! Totally 5 stars!

Weekend Fall Getaway

Great little lake house with style! My husband and I enjoyed the stay at Turtle Creek with our 15mo. Property was easy to access, clean and very accommodating. Wish we could have enjoyed the lake more but the weather was not cooperating. Property is well decorated and very cozy. We loved it and would come back again!

A Great Getaway

The house itself is comfortable and roomy. The kitchen is well equipped. Access to the paddle boat was great fun. HEB is up the street a couple of blocks, and we rented a boat just down the road. It couldn't have been more convenient and enjoyable! I also can't say enough about the kindness and great communication of the owner. Our planned arrival coincided with the landfall of Houston's Hurricane Beryl, disrupting our original plan. The owner was so accommodating and helpful with our unexpected changes in plan, and the communication was great throughout. We were so grateful to have the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home for a few days and hope to come back again soon!

Our Weekend at Turtle Rock Cottage

Our party arrived at the cottage on Friday afternoon and the check-in went smoothly. The Cottage was clean, well maintained and had everything that we needed. The waterfront, shallow water and provided "toys" were ideal for our group. The cottage was definitely a "TEN".

Perfect Fishing Getaway

This trip was to give my 20 yr old and 9 yr old a place to fish while I could have a place to relax as needed. This home was the perfect fit! My sons fished, I was able to watch and spend time with them without being on a boat all day. We also went down to the bait shop and fished off the property there. It was a great weekend trip and I would definitely stay here again!! Great house, super clean, very cute decor, super close to other places to see and close to HEB for supplies.

The lake water behind the home was dirty and murky. I would not recommend for anyone who has kids who want to swim or anyone with jet skis. The murky, dirty water will destroy the jet ski intake.

Cozy cottage on LBJ

This cute cottage was very comfortable and well stocked for our family vacation. The location on LBJ was convenient. You could almost walk to HEB and a quick boat ride to wake point or boat town. Our host was quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating.
