Rooms and property were beautiful with great facilities. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. 2 night stay was perfect time to do a full day safari and enjoy the resprt
Beautiful hotel in Yala. Stayed here one night in connection with a Yala safari and was surprised by how nice this hotel was. The outdoor area is absolutely lovely, and so are the rooms, which are spacious and stylish. The food at this place was delicious. The staff are extraordinary, especially Shehan.
Can't speak highly enough. The staff was helpful beyond belief. The safari driver organised had 14 years experience and we saw everything we hoped for.
Staff found a large printed photograph on a board for me to purchase. It was taken by the GM at Yala in a similar position to what we spotted our leopard. Money goes to a conservation fund.
We spend two days in the resort. The arrival was easy and we received a heartfelt greeting. The room was very clean and we had a wonderfull view in the surrouning nature. The pool was as well Good organized and clean with a beautiful view.
The breakfast and Dinner was amazing. You can chose between different meals which were prepared with local fruits vegetables and meat or fish. We like it that they Support the local Provider. This Supports the private Business and secure freshly cooked meals.
The employee were really friendly and answered every question.
A Special thanks to the guy called Lahiru he was in charge of us every time and we had some nice conversation with him. He explained us very much about the Sri Lanka Culture and history. This was very interesting.
Thanks to the entire team for the wonderfull stay.
Agreed by the whole family to be the best hotel and stay of our Sri Lanka & Singapore trip (overall we stayed at 11 different hotels of varying quality).
Can't really rave enough about this place. I wouldn't really call it a hotel - more like a luxury, boutique accommodation. Exceptional in every way.
Pros
- Service - exceptional, Upul is the only one who we knew by name but everyone was wonderful
- Pool - the hotel was full but there were rarely more than 4-5 people at the pool and even then it felt like you had it yourself
- Close to Yala National Park - kicking ourselves we did one safari here and one from another (further) hotel as it was so close to the park it would have been much easier travel wise
- Organised a safari for us from the hotel and packed snacks and cold water which was very thoughtful (we paid the driver directly and it was well priced)
- Yummy cocktails and good food
- Great value for money and even more so considering some of the other places we stayed
- Nice large, clean, modern, and comfy rooms with a great view of the fields
- The little extras make it extra special - they had archery, basketball and a mini golf course
- Serene and peaceful, R&R achieved
- Like an oasis and with beautiful, natural surroundings
- Space - just felt personal and like we had the place almost to ourselves
Cons
I can't really think of anything.
You won't be disappointed booking a stay here.
