The space

Nestled on the west coast of the island of Crete, Villa Mediterranea is a charming stone house, known for its elegant yet simple architectural elements that reflect modern Cretan design. The property consists of a main building and a separate guesthouse.

Villa Mediterranea offers 180° sea views, breathtaking sunsets, and is surrounded by olive groves.

Located in the settlement of Livadia, a small village on the west coast of Crete at the edge of the Chania prefecture, Villa Mediterranea is ideal for both couples and families. The guesthouse offers extra privacy, making it perfect for hosting additional guests.

The nearest beach and the village taverna are just a 5-minute walk away.

Layout
The 100 m2 Villa Mediterranea can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests in its 3 bedrooms. The simple design blends beautifully with traditional element such as stones walls, wooden details, which are simple elegance that creates a warm, authentic, and ergonomic holiday home.

Indoors
Main Building: Upon entering the ground floor of Villa Mediterranea, guests are welcomed into a bright, open-plan space featuring the living room, a modern kitchen with a dining island. The living area boasts large windows that open directly to the pool terrace, offering stunning sea views and a comfortable corner sofa for lounging. The fully equipped kitchen includes all the essentials for home cooking, with a stylish island counter, perfect for casual meals or socializing during meal prep.
Just five internal steps away, guests will find two of the villa’s bedrooms and a bathroom:
- One bedroom with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m)
- One bedroom with two single beds
- One bathroom with a shower cabin

Guesthouse: The guesthouse is a separate building that includes a bedroom with two single beds, a kitchenette and a private bathroom. This space also houses the washing machine and ironing facilities.

Outdoor area
The exterior of Villa Mediterranea offers spectacular sea views and is designed for relaxation and comfort. Outdoor amenities include:
- A private swimming pool (40 m², 1.80 m deep) with ladder access
- 4 sun loungers and a poolside shower
- Outdoor dining area for 6 guests
- Additional outdoor dining space under a pergola-covered patio for 6 guests
- 2 lounge seats
- Free public parking available right outside the villa

All bedrooms are equipped with closets and individually controlled A/C units.
Linen and towels provided are 100% cotton.

Please note: The area is remote, so we highly recommend renting a car and doing your grocery shopping before you arrive at the villa.

The closest supermarket is in Chrysoskalitissa, but you can also order by phone from Sklavenitis Supermarket in Kissamos, which offers delivery to the area.
