The place was amazing and we were supposed to have a private deck. Because it wasnât marked too well, we had to shoo people away that we were sitting on our deck when we came outside to enjoy it. Otherwise, the day was great!
We had a wonderful stay at the Requa inn. The hotel is warm and welcoming, the comforts are all exceptional (our bed was so comfortable we slept like we havenât slept in a long time), we spent time by the fire playing chess at night, watched the sun set at Klamath overlook (we heard sea-lions and saw grey whales from the overlook as well), and relaxed in the hot tub after a long hike in the wonderful redwood state park nearby. Breakfasts was simple but delicious and their homemade toast is FABULOUS. We will absolutely be back for another great stay and I will recommend a stay for anyone looking for a great place to relax and recharge.
Cute and cozy inn surrounded by forests and beauty
We had an excellent one night stay. We were in room 20- just lovely and comfortable and the nicest most heavenly bed Iâve ever slept on. I even took pictures of the softest blanket they had on that bed in hopes of getting my own. Big clawfoot soaking tub with ample amounts of hot water as well was a highlight. The ladies who checked us in were helpful and full of great information. We had breakfast downstairs the next morning and it was excellent. There were great views of the Klamath river. We opened our windows and the air was fresh and crisp. One think to note is that on the road leading to the inn, there are abandoned vehicles that look to have been set on fire and have been stripped. That at first made me feel a bit unsafe, but I realized once we were settled that I was in good hands.
The restaurant they recommended was The Country Club Grill. Best burger and chicken sandwich Iâve had in a long time. Itâs a total hole in the wall though. Come for the food as the ambience is not to some peopleâs taste.
Excellent stay in Klamath. I would return.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Requa Inn! The location is stunning waking up to the sound of the river flowing just outside was incredibly peaceful. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. They also gave us a great recommendation for a nearby sunset spot, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Weâd love to come back and experience it all over again!
Great hotel if you want charm. Hotel allows guests to inspect vacant rooms. Our room was the worst. Avoid room 6 (selected by Hotels.com so we couldnât change it) Makeshift shower added to high walled standing tub so treacherous to step in and out of tub to shower. No place in shower to place shampoo and liquid soap. Smallish queen bed. But charm was in spades! Very nice decor. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. I was allowed to use a shower in a vacant room on second night.
The food, the staff, the location, the proterty, the vibes and the town were all amazing. It was dang near the perfect stay, there wasnt a large variety of places to eat but the hospitality of the places that there were out there was phenomenal. Everyone was super kind, the sights were incredible and we will retun. P.S. the gas is super cheap around there compared to anywhere else in california and biscuits & gravy were to die for!
The Requa Inn is very charming and has a beautiful common area with a fire place, boardgames, beautiful decor and breathtaking views to enjoy for all guests. There was a fridge for guests to share and even a hot tub outside. Our room was lovely and cosy. We also got cookies when we checked in! We loved it!
The Requa Inn was just wonderful. I stayed for one night with a view of the Klamath River (I was in room 6). It was truly peaceful and beautiful. I will most certainly be back, hopefully sooner rather than later!
This is a charming place to stay. Note that the building is old - built from redwoods and insulated with redwood sawdust - so you can hear everything. I slept with earplugs and over-ear headphones playing soft music and had an excellent night sleep - best of my trip. Somehow they have managed to have beds that are very soft, but it also didnât mess up my back. It does take a moment to adjust to this property, the rooms are cozy (small), as is the bathroom and shower. I was traveling alone. If I were with another person I would book a bigger room. The staff is delightful, as is the lobby. Lots of books and games and places to sit and look at the river. Loved the music that was playing in the lobby in the evening. Not many dining options nearby, I drove into Cresent City for dinner and had a delightful meal at SeaQuake Brewery.
