It is ideally centrally located and an excellent starting point for day trips such as the butterfly park (1 km), to the Bothmer Klütz Castle (1 km), to the Baltic seaside town of Boltenhagen (3 km), the Hanseatic city of Wismar (20 km) and Hanzestad Lübeck (30 km).
