Don't book here!!! It's a scam!!!! The hotel is LITERALLY shut down!!!!
We got here for our reservation on Sept 22, 2024 to find a shut down hotel! We had to pay TRIPLE the price elsewhere because the hotel AND Expedia never contacted us!
And Expedia is refusing to reimburse us for the room that was triple the price!
Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting customer service!
This place was awful and a pit. Undergoing renovation which should have been disclosed by Hotels.com. No signage on building, no pool, no restaurant, no breakfast which was supposed to be included. Full price charged. Place was dirty. Should not be listed on Hotals.com in this condition. Feel ripped off.
The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and informative. They were under construction, but there was no hot water. The room was very dirty. looked like bug feces on the lamp. Something orangish red in the bathtub, popcorn ceiling was falling into the floor, a big white stain on the chair. Most amenities such as the pool and bar was closed due to construction and we weren’t given a heads up. We got our refund fairly fast and had to find a different hotel
The property was disgusting our room had cockroaches..property is having some kind of repairs done so you were able to dine or swim or even drink the water from the fountains or sinks nor were you able to sleep because repairs were being done so it was noisy
Hotel is under reconstruction. No breakfast (muffins), No tv, replaced but no remote so not able to use, no ice machines, room had just the basics, not able to connect any devices as there were no USB connections. Staff were helpful and friendly, but the construction should have been disclosed before accepting the reservatioon.
It would have been better if i was told about the construction that they had going on. I got woke up at 9 am to a jackhammer above my room. They did change my room but eventually the workers were abouve that room later that day and i work graveyard so i was very tired.
Place is disgusting. Dirty, smelly, and had a ghetto electric stove in the room sitting on the carpet with exposed wiring connected to another wire that went under the carpet. Unbelievable.
Room nothing like the picture. I was highly disappointed. The guy also told us there was breakfast served. When we got up the next morning we were told differently.. I guess maybe we chose a bad time to come during renovations being made.. they needa shut it on down til everything is complete smh
Worst experience in all of my hotel stays. Hotel was rated over 7 and it should be a negative 100. The hotel was dilapidated, super dirty, under construction, filthy dry wall dust. Rooms were disgusting.
This hotel is under construction and we were told this at check in and that many amenities were unavailable. But we were fine with that because we just needed a place to stay after a concert. However it was old, dirty, and smelled bad. Breakfast was just cereal and muffins because “the area flooded yesterday”. One of my top priorities for a hotel stay is breakfast so this was very inconvenient and disappointing. The employees were really nice but it was not worth the cost. I know construction is difficult but they may want to temporarily close or greatly reduced the fee.
I booked this property because it was highly rated, just to get there and see that its under construction. Our room has trash all heside the fridge, chipped paint, tv doesnt work and bathroom has running water. Bathroom Also looks like black mold on the wall. Very disappointed
Room smelled musty and aged and likely had never been restored to a "non-smoking" room after many years of smoking. Significant mold around the shower surround and tube. Dirt in the corners of the bathroom. Countertops were separating from the wall and the backsplashes were separated from the counter (like counter was falling down). Paint and drywall missing from the ceiling in the bathroom and bed area. Carpet was soiled. Television reception on any channel was poor. It was not obvious the linens had been changed from the previous occupant. We requested another room and were told there were no others that would be better in the hotel. The rooms being renovated were on levels 2 and 3 where construction was supposedly ongoing.
First, the hotel was under construction which I didn’t know about when booking. Not really an issue except not having ice. All of the other services were shut down also, but no ice?? The main problem was with the room. It was absolutely disgusting. Filthy with crumbs and dirt everywhere. The sink was still running with it being off so we asked if we could switch rooms. They said it was at full capacity but didn’t even offer to try to fix it. We had to stuff a washcloth in the drain to dull the noise. I wouldn’t have even stayed there but because I already prepaid there were no refund. It was a complete dump and not worth the $141 I paid.
The place was very nasty and not suitable to stay in. I understand that you understand renovations but you not be open to the public in these conditions
We did not stay. Reported to be under renovation, the room we were assigned was rundown and, though likely clean, unpleasant looking and had an odor. We would have been one of only a couple people staying there.
The hotel was under complete restoration and it showed.
There was only one way to enter and leave. Thankfully we were only passing through for the night. I will say the bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. If I had not already made on-line reservations and paid in advance, we would have never stayed here. The lobby ceiling was leaking with buckets catching the water as you walked in. As for TV we were only able to get a few channels. The interaction with the staff was pleasant.

The room looked like something from a noir film. The sheets were stained, outlets were burnt out, most of the lights didn't work, there was a bag covering the fire alarm, a random stove right next to window drapes, and a number of other glaring issues. We looked at the other room offered after letting the front desk know, it wasn't much better. There was also this lingering smell in the hallway that smelt like a mix of a sweaty jock strap, mildew, and a litter box. We choose to leave instead of staying. This was not what was advertised at all.
I paid $258 because the pictures looked good and they had an indoor pool. When we arrived, the place was deplorable, it’s under renovation and the pool was under renovation. The pool was literally the main reason I rented it. We went up to the room and there were huge scratches all over the doors, the door that separated our room from the next-door room had been busted in, the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag, there were huge marks on the walls where pictures once hung, there were drywall repairs all over the bathroom, it was literally disgusting I would not take money to stay there let alone pay money.
I almost never complain but this needs to be reported.
I got on a chat with Expedia to try to get a refund and it was disconnected three times before they gave up and hung up on me. I found a phone number online and called and the man was very nice and I was refunded everything.
