Most impressive is the staff named "Mariko" at the Reception. Mariko-san is very efficient, attentive, service-minded, and helpful indeed. I am very impressed with the way Mariko-san assisted me in searching more information about the train schedule (very fast, clear and complete) and this really helped me a lot and made me want to go back to stay at this hotel again and again.

Very new hotel close

This hotel is right at the shopping street. It is also only a short walk to the Harbour, the Kitano foreign settlement area, and the ropeway station up to the Herb garden (all recommended tourist atteactions). The hotel feels very new. Although it only offers room cleaning once every 3 days, you can request for more frequent cleaning or change of linen by placing a sign outside on the door of your room.

Great location!

The hotel was situated on a beautiful, one-way street walkable to the Sannomiya station and the harbour. Check-in was relatively easy with a ticket/qr code from the counter and then the kiosk for the key cards - the same kiosk was used for returning the key cards and check out. The on-site Italian restaurant was popular among the locals but offered a 10% off discount for those staying at the hotel: service and food was great for the lunch buffet we had. The room we had for our family of 4 with small children was located on the top floor (16F): it was spacious, housing two large beds, a living area with a big desk and coffee table (for those eat-in meals) and had a mini fridge (with freezer) and microwave oven. The bathroom was equally spacious, with a well-appointed bathtub and two wash basins; toilet was separate at the entrance and also had its own wash basin. Lighting and its control was well designed and the curtain could block out lights fully. We used the coin-operated laundry located on the 10F - it was a washer and dryer combined; we did need additional drying for our large load of laundry. The "lobby" next to the reception was relaxing as we checked out and explored the city once more until after lunch time. The surrounding of the hotel was relaxing and quiet: this is very different to what we anticipated, understanding the central location of this hotel previously.

Great spot to base yourself if in Kobe. Very comfortable, was only missing a gym and our room, although up 11 storeys, did not escape the pedestrian crossing alarm. Earplugs essential for the light sleepers.

Stayed 7 nights in Kobe and loved it! Hotel is in a very nice and convenient location. Close to Sannomiya station and surrounded by shops, cafes, restaurants etc. Only criticism would be that whenever you get new towels they give you a whole new set of bathroom amenities which wasn't really necessary and all came in single use plastic. Maybe some type of request form could be used instead of just giving a whole new set everytime

Rooms have everything but extremely tiny. No gym or work-out room. I was on the 7th floor and it was very quiet. No street noise. TV big screen but only has Japanese stations. Nice bathtub for soaking and good shower.

Good location Poor service

We stayed 4 days in the executive suite. Assuming it’s the best room of their hotel. However There is no service for the first 3 days. I had to ask the reception for new towels everyday. They said I had to put service sign on the door before 10am. We put it out at 11am(because we wake up late) so got no service. On last day I was in the hotel whole day(and had service sign out the night before!) there is no one come to service until 12p.m. I called reception and this time they had no excuse and ask me when do I need service?! The pillows are extremely uncomfortable, we didnt had any good sleep during the five days. Good things with the hotel is the location. And normal king/twin rooms are very affordable. It is not worth to pay 4 times normal rate to get the executive suite. It will not value the money. And the reception got very poor English compare to Osaka and Kyoto hotels, do not expect they will answer any of your enquiries.
