Where I arrived there was no one in the buildibg. It was an old delipated building used as a guest house the workers of a resort. Some one told me that Hotel Muziris Fort has not operated there for several years and that many customers like me has been duped. I was forced to walk back 15 miles to the hone a friend in Ernakulam. I demand action and a compensation of $500 for this mistake on Part of Expedia to list a vendor who has closed down Please expedite or else I will share this incident on social media.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. IT IS NOT A HOTEL It is impossible to check in. The phone number does not work. They did not reply to messages on Expedia. When I talked to someone in the building they said it is "not a hotel and only for staff". The photo includes a shiny reception desk that is not physically in the building. This is a scam. Expedia refused to refund my money.

Five nights at MFI

Comfortable accommodation and well worth the money. One thing to note is that the place is a bit away (30 min walk) from the main tourist area of Fort Kochi. Not a lot dining options around the hotel either. However, you can take a bus or a quick tuk tuk ride to Jewish town or fort Kochi beach area. Good AC and ceiling fan. Windows with nets to prevent mosquitoes, fairly quiet place. Had a good night's sleep without fail
