The onsen on the property was nice and hot staff were pretty friendly. Make sure to ask for a room on a higher floor or your view of Mt. Fuji will be particularly blocked by trees. My one bigger complaints was noise in the morning. It was not from guests, but both mornings I was woken up by announcements from outside (maybe not even on the property).

It was a comfortable. I did not expect the room to be dated. But it was still comfortable nonetheless. Did have a view of Mt. Fuji. No wash cloths. And there was hair on the bathroom walls. They have a shuttle bus that can go to Kawaguchiko station to pick you up or drop you off.

The room we got was specious and a nice view if Mt. Fuji. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Ms. Iwai. She was always there when I need help for anything and always assisted with a sweet smile on her face.

An excellent stay

A really lovely hotel with a great view of Mt Fuji. We had a good size room with a balcony, I loved just sitting on the balcony with a coffee. We added the evening taster dinner which was excellent. The breakfast was just as good. It was a 20 minute walk from the bus station, but used the free shuttle bus on the day we left to get us back to the bus station. Overall an excellent stay and would recomment it.

No water pressure

It is a nice but older facility. Everything was fine except the water pressure in our room was AWFUL. It was barely coming out of the shower head. I am not one to complain but this was horrid. It took forever to try to take a shower. I understand that there is an onsen and the water pressure there was fine but in our room on the 11th floor it was basically nom existent. For the price of our room, I expect water pressure. Staff were all wonderful. They were helpful with anything we needed.

Excellent example of Japanese hotel hospitality

Chose this hotel ostensibly for views of Mount Fuji and the onsen facilities. While Fuji was hiding behind clouds for two days (nothing anyone can do about the weather!) we were able to see the mountain on the morning we left. We had a room on the (Japanese) 3rd floor, but Fuji was still fully visible. The hotel made a lovely change from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and set in a quiet location. The room was spacious (twice, if not three times the size of the room we had in Asakusa in Tokyo!). The hotel is a little far from the train station to walk, but the hotel shuttle service helps get you to and from the station at specific times of the day. Pick not before 3pm. You can ask the tourist info office staff at the train station to call your hotel when you arrive. Info office open 9am to 5pm. The hotel is very much in the style of Japanese resort hotel, once you are there you can unwind and slow down with a nice onsen experience. The shop in the lobby sells lots of lovely omiyage/local products. Double rooms are on floors 2 to 5, floors 6 and above are for more than two people occupancy. The Japanese breakfast was excellent, as was the kaiseki dinner. Excellent value compared to what you would pay for the equivalent experience in the UK. The hotel staff were super helpful and polite, definitely model examples of Japanese customer service. They cater well for non-Japanese speakers, if you speak English or Mandarin Chinese, not sure about other languages.

I booked a room that can sleep 2 people because it had two separate beds. When i got there they decided to charge me more because i had a guest with me. I have never had to pay extra money anywhere for having a guest with me. The only reason I stayed was because we were tired from traveling. I felt robbed. Checkout is at 11 am, after we checked out, they said they could not give us a ride to the train station because the last shuttle is at 11am, how is checkout at 11am and the last shuttle is also at 11am. Terrible, will never go back. No customer service. I had to pay out of pocket to book a taxi to the train station.
