Welcome to Joiku, completed in October 2024. As one of the largest villas in the resort, it features clean design, high ceilings, and expansive glass walls that frame views of the YllĂ€s swing and nearby lake. The only villa with a private Drop Design spa on its terrace, itâs perfect for stargazing and watching the Northern Lights. Ski tracks pass by in winter, and the villageâs shops and services are just a short walk away, offering Laplandâs natural beauty alongside local convenience.
This exceptional villa, one of Joiku Resortâs larger and best-positioned, features three spacious bedrooms, each with super king beds, walk-in wardrobes, and ample storage. Set on the lakefront, the villaâs terrace, complete with a private Drop Design jacuzzi, nearly overhangs the water, offering breathtaking views of the Joiku swing and surrounding landscape.
Living & Kitchen Area
The heart of this villa is the open-plan living room and kitchen, with a dramatic 6-meter ceiling and full-width windows framing the lake and fell views. A striking architectural fireplace serves as a focal point, dividing the space with warmth and style. The large kitchen island is perfect for gathering and cooking together, with high-end appliances, integrated storage, an induction hob with a built-in hood, and a convenient breakfast cupboard. Step out onto the terrace from here to relax in the jacuzzi or take in the scenery.
Bedrooms & Bath Facilities
Each bedroom is designed for comfort, featuring super king beds dressed in 100% percale cotton linens that are professionally laundered and ironed for a crisp, luxurious feel. The master bedroom on the ground floor offers privacy and direct access to the utility room and a spacious bathroom. Upstairs, two large bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower, and one room includes a workstation with views over the living room windowsâperfect for remote work. This villa comfortably accommodates eight guests, with space for additional visitors if needed.

Located in the village of ĂkĂ€slompolo, close to YllĂ€stunturi Ski Resort, the villa has easy access to bus routes from KittilĂ€ Airport and Kolari train station, offering an ideal base for exploring Laplandâs natural beauty.
Private Beach Sauna Experience
From January-February 2025, guests can book a private lakeside sauna. This setup includes a Drop Design jacuzzi on the terrace by the lake, allowing for a refreshing dip in icy waters between sauna sessionsâan unforgettable winter experience.
Important Note
Please note that the resort is currently finalising extension work next door. While thereâs no heavy construction noise expected, some daytime activity may be noticeable. Weâre committed to keeping any disturbance minimal for a comfortable stay.
The villa is exclusively yours, without interruption during your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home.
Other than the already mentioned amenities, our home is also equipped with fast Wi-Fi, underfloor heating, and a washing machine
We will be accessible 24/7 for our guests via phone, text, or the Airbnb app.
