Beautiful views, comfortable and clean home
I would give this place 5 stars but unfortunately there was a mix up with our reservation. I have to mention this because the level of service still provided and the ownership of the mistake was taken very well. I traveled to Kauai for a work conference that was from a Saturday-Thursday. We got in Saturday to find out our reservation was mixed-up and didn't start till the following day. The owner was quick to react by doing the right thing. He refunded us for our stay which allowed us to stay at a hotel for the very first night, it seems we got lucky though because things were booking up as we were trying to arrange them. That was stressful but all apart of the journey of traveling so we turned a negative to a positive and Donald was very empathetic to our stress. I did not have to complain to him at all he immediately took charge. I'd say his level of understanding the customer experience is great so I still wanted to mention how he handled that mistake and commend him for it.
I think Donald responded to this misunderstanding very well. We still stayed at this place and it was very comfortable and accommodating. Spacious, quiet, private, clean, and comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. There's a pool not shown in the pictures that's very nice and even has an area to swim laps in. There's a separate hot tub only for adults. There is also a pool bar, fitness center, incredible views all over from the parking lot to the trail that walks along cliffs that drop into the ocean and go to a beach next to the Hyatt hotel. I had a work conference at the Hyatt so it was necessary for me to be able to walk there and then it was nice to come back to a place that was less crowded feeling than a hotel and had all the amenities I needed such as a kitchen, living room, patio, etc.
The people at the concierge desk were very helpful and kind. They provide you a number to text to request if you need anything.
