Guest Access:

You will receive a link to an online guest book when it gets close to your arrival date. You will receive the link by email and text. The home has an electronic lock at the bottom level where the cars are parked. A code will be generated into your guest book just before your arrival day.



The Neighborhood:

Hoone Rd, fronting Poipu Beach Park and Brenneckes Beach, turns into Pee Rd. This winding street is a popular place to watch the sunset on the wall fronting Nihi Kai or to walk one way and return to the Poipu Kai Greenbelt.



Getting Around:

When visiting Kauai, we highly recommend renting a car to enhance your experience and give you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. While there are other transportation options available, such as the Kauai Bus, it's important to note that the bus service may not run as frequently as you might expect.



Having a rental car allows you to easily access all the incredible sights and attractions that Kauai has to offer. From the stunning Na Pali Coast to the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, having your own transportation gives you the flexibility to visit these iconic locations on your own schedule.

Excellent location. Saw whales and spinner dolphins almost daily from the second floor lanai. A short walk to Brennecke and Poipu beaches, about 2 and 5 minutes, to see the green turtles and Monk seals. The place was nicely appointed and comfortable. Bedrooms and baths are downstairs. You come in upstairs and the space is very comfortable with a large lanai. Would definitely stay again.

loha! We absolutely loved our stay at Nihi Kai 203 in Poipu. The location truly does not get better. You are right next to Poipu Beach, with ocean views and the convenience of being poolside, which made everything feel effortless and relaxing.Check in and check out were incredibly easy, and there was always someone available if we had a question, which made the entire stay feel seamless and stress free.The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully laid out. And if you like to cook, this kitchen is basically a chefs kitchen. It was fully equipped, spacious, and perfect for cooking meals at home after a day at the beach. Morning coffee on the lanai with the sound of the ocean was a highlight, and evenings were just as peaceful.Being steps from the pool was ideal, whether it was a quick dip or just relaxing nearby. We also loved how walkable everything was. Beach time, sunsets, and nearby dining were all right there without needing to hop in the car.If you are looking for a place that feels like true Kauai living with an unbeatable location, Nihi Kai 203 is a gem. FABULOUS Location and Host

This was our 3rd visit to Kauai and our first time in NK203. Definitely the best location and the best host we have had! We had 2 couples and the condo is plenty spacious for everyone with several seating areas to change things up. The view out to the ocean and the cove with turtles is spectacular. We definitely appreciated the A/C in all rooms. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped and the the washing machine (mostly for beach towels) was very helpful. We were grateful for the beach umbrella, chairs and multiple coolers (we used the large one for day trips). The Brita meant we did not need to buy bottled water which was wonderful. The property manager was very responsive and helpful and left an AMAZING gift basket for us! This was definitely an 11 out of 10 experience! Can't wait to come back.

Great Stay to Watch the Whales and Sunset

The location was perfect for Whales and Sunsets. I enjoyed closeness to two beaches one with exceptional snorkeling, turtles and monk seal sightings. Puka Dog and Little Fish Coffee, SO YUM. Don’t forget to go to Keoki’s Paradise for live music and delicious food. When returning to the South Shores of Kauai, this is the places Ill be staying. Comfy beds, beach chairs, and fully stocked kitchen made our stay comfortable and easy.

Great location!

This is a great property! Very close to Poipu and Brennecke Beach, about 10 minutes to Koloa. Maybe 40 feet from the pool. We have stayed in this complex twice now and we were happy this one has AC
 the bedrooms are downstairs without much air flow and depending on the time of year can get pretty hot and stuffy. The only thing we wished it had was a bathroom upstairs but that’s absolutely not a dealbreaker for a future trip. We would stay here again!

Gorgeous location!

The location is fantastic, the view is epic! The photos don’t even do it justice. One thing that I wish I had known ahead of time is that all the doors on the lower floor are louvered, meaning any sound that occurs in the bedrooms or bathrooms is entirely audible to anyone else in the unit. I know that this is a common thing in tropical climates and is needed for airflow. This is certainly not the only rental in Hawaii with these doors. It definitely changed the dynamic of our stay, we have a new level of intimacy in our friendships. 😜

The AC split units did not cool properly

We enjoyed the unit - and the location. But the AC didn’t work properly. We reached out - got an answering service. Were told the next day that we weren’t using them properly- as if we’d never used ac or split units before. We also had trouble finding the unit and parking since the rental agency overlooked sending us the address that GPS could use.

Kauai is Paradise

Kauai is paradise! We island hopped and Kauai was our second island. We didn’t stay long enough. The island and property are breathtaking. The property is clean, modern, spacious, and has stunning views of the ocean and pool all while being walking distance to beaches and some restaurants. We will be back!

The best thing about this property is the location. The second best thing was the space for our family of 5 (with 3 older teens). Loved having the boogie boards, chairs, and coolers available, and loved that the beach was just a few steps away! The location was also convenient for visiting Waimea Canyon, Hanapepe, Allerton Gardens, and Kekaha (for our NaPali cruise), as well as a few minutes drive to shops for groceries and shave ice. The property grounds were beautiful, and we loved sitting out on the lanai. The not so good things were: how hot the upstairs got, even with the fans and ac going; the cockroach we found in the bathroom and the little bugs that were all over the kitchen countertops; the bathroom door not locking; and just in general how tired and dated most of the condo was (it had an "old" smell to it).

amazing. the telephone wires and poles hampered a bit. The doors to bedrooms were slatted so privacy limited. We were 2 couples away on vacay. Beach chairs and umbrella provided which was nice since you are able to walk to beach. A few chairs need to be replaced. Over all we would definitely return

Loved the condo - very comfortable, had everything we needed and wanted, great place to relax! Hope to visit again!
