WiFi is free in public spaces. You'll find a business center on site. Oriental Lander Hotel also features tour/ticket assistance, laundry facilities, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
Oriental Lander rooms were dirty, towels were falling apart, facility was overall rundown, old and smelt like smoke everywhere. The non-smoking rooms smelt like smoke, even the bed sheets. Do NOT recommend this hotel.
Booking this hotel was probably the worst decision I ever made in my life besides choosing art as a major. As soon as I walk in, I smell mold & cigarettes. Despite of the fact that itâs a smoke free hotel, the entire hallway smelled like a cigarette. Next thing I notice is weird red stains, someoneâs hair (my hair is red and it was long black one and another one looked like a pubic hair). I was too tired so I tried to just rest but then I start coughing and I see HUGE amount of dust. I scraped it, it was THICK dust it looked like it wasnât cleaned for years cos itâs GREENISH. I made a complaint through hotels.com cos I couldnât speak from coughing. receptionist and a woman comes and I donât speak the language but I can feel her attitude&body language. She asked me (guy translated for me) why didnât I turn on AC (âŠbecause it has molds & itâs cold?), tells me to open the bathroom door and turn on Ventilation so the smell goes away. The toilet doesnât even have a door stop. How am I supposed to do that? They did change the room to a smaller one (I booked 2 beds) which was better, then I found an opened CONDOM packaging. I just left and booked another hotel. The younger guy receptionist (Anthony) was a sweetheart, he kept checked in if I can breathe well or if I wanna change to bigger room next day. Besides him, NOTHING was ok. Hygiene is the bare minimum mandatory thing hotels should take care of. And istg Ive never made complaints in my life after British airways. This was 2nd.
Need to walk 7 to 10 minutes to Airport bus or MRT station, Near Fire Service Dept, Quite and wel light up area. Close by to Hong Kong Baptist University School Of Chinese Medicine - Lui Seng Chun
A very small room with a very tiny bathroom that doesn't have enough space to raise your arm.
Rooms are too close to each other and partition walls are too thin to insulate noises.
Everything of the hotel looks and feels old and worn
