The Bona Bista Estate is a quiet and perhaps the most beautiful villa park on Bonaire, accessible via a single access road. This access is secured by an automatic gate that remains closed at night. Only residents and tenants have a remote control of the gate.

Caribbean Dream is a modern built villa with all the associated western comfort, but built with a purely Caribbean appearance and atmosphere. According to local use, Caribbean Dream is "built on the wind", so that a wonderfully cooling trade wind is continuously felt through the open shutters. is.

The garden is connected to the adjacent pool area of ​​no less than 800 m2, also with a beautifully landscaped tropical garden, the pool itself has an area of ​​50 m2 (5 x 10 m) and is 1.5 m deep, filled with crystal clear cooling water . After swimming, you can relax in the sun under the rain shower outside.

After a long and exciting day of diving or snorkeling, it is possible to rinse and clean your diving equipment on the terrace by the outdoor rain shower. When the equipment is drying, there is plenty of time to relax on the veranda before lighting the barbecue and preparing for the outdoor dinner.

Why Bonaire and why Caribbean Dream?

We first came to the island about 15 years ago.
I remember it like yesterday, the door of the plane opened, I breathed in the air and felt the sun on my forehead ... I felt a tingling all over my body and all the Western stress immediately flowing from me.
I had been to many places around the world before, but I had never experienced this feeling in such a way.

During that vacation, after exploring the entire island, we decided to build a second home on Bonaire.

It was the beautiful location, central on the island, just outside Kralendijk, that made us decide to buy a lot on the new real estate plan, Bona Bista Estate. A wonderfully quiet area, yet close to everything.

Most existing neighborhoods and villa parks have no paved roads, roads full of rocks and pits do not have a sewer, during the rainy season they become fast-flowing streams.

Bona Bista Estate, has paved roadsides asphalted roads, street lighting, fiber optic internet and as icing on the cake is secured with an electric gate that remains closed to unauthorized persons at night, so a wonderfully safe feeling.

We designed the house ourselves and built it in-house, so we were lucky enough to do it as we saw fit, without compromise.
We were looking for the authentic Caribbean atmosphere and feeling, the same feeling as that first time from the plane. On Bonaire always 30 degrees and always a wonderful trade wind so open mahogany shutters everywhere, high ceilings with the ridge at about 8 meters high, a huge veranda and beautiful roof terrace supported by solid wooden columns. Everything can be opened completely and so becomes one with the outside, exactly what we wanted.
And let me tell you all, the many times after that first time that the door of the plane opened, we both have exactly the same feeling, as soon as we are back on Bonaire soil again !


Information about the environment :

Bonaire: sun, sea, beach and water sports. Caribbean Dream is centrally located, so all beaches can be reached within 5 to 10 minutes. Eden Beach is the closest, minutes away by car.

Caribbean Dream is located opposite the 123 meter high hill of Seru Largu.
From the Seru Largu you have a view over all of Bonaire and small Bonaire and in clear weather even over Venezuela and Curaçao.

The sea has two faces on Bonaire. On the west coast quiet with sandy beaches and on the east coast rough where the water collides with the rocks with enormous force. Both definitely worth going to see !

Caribbean Dream is situated high up, so from the veranda and even more from the 20m2 large roof terrace, you have a beautiful view of the coastline at Kralendijk, with its cruise ships, on the horizon.

The surface of Bonaire is 288 km2, 39 kilometers long and the widest part is only 12 kilometers.
Caribbean Dream is centrally located just outside Kralendijk in a beautiful rural area.

Kralendijk is often considered the center of the island. Here you will find a wide range of shops, cafes, bars, terraces and of course also the best restaurants with different cuisines!

The Bona Bista Estate is adjacent to the Kaminda Gurubu, this is the connecting road between the only two towns on Bonaire, for direction Kralendijk you just turn left and Rincon (the oldest settlement), turn right, after that just straight ahead and you will be there.
