The room was nice. It wasn’t a big room but it was spacious enough to feel comfortable. I love that they provided a humidifier because the Japan winters are very dry. The amenities were great and abundant. No need to bring toiletries. The restaurant food was a little pricey but the food was well worth it. The location of the hotel is also perfection. Walking distance from Gion and many other attractions. You will not be bored. The staff was great and the complimentary coffee hit the spot on those cold mornings.

Highly recommend staying at this hotel. I originally booked this hotel for the price and location. It’s a short walking distance to the subway to get to popular attractions such as the Arashiyama Bamboo Forrest, Fushimi Inari Taisha, and Ninenzaka/Sannenzaka. There is also a ton of shopping and amazing restaurants around this hotel and a bike rental right outside. We booked a king bed and it was very comfortable. I also took advantage of the lobby’s free coffee machine. We enjoyed this hotel and location so much we ended up extending our stay. Would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Kyoto.

The hotel staff were polite and kind. The room was clean and equipped with heating, air conditioning, and a humidifier, making it comfortable even in winter. Located in the heart of the downtown area, it's very convenient with restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

This hotel was impeccable! Very spacious, modern, and located in the middle of everything. Train station was closeby and the hotel lobby is impressive with very easy uber or taxi service availability. In addition, I truly appreciated the 24 hour free green tea and coffee available to guest.
