Great property. Very cooperative staff. There are lot of good dining options and restaurants in the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and nice. Great ambiance. Walkable distance to transportation options. Great place to stay if you are in Kyoto!

We loved our stay here. The room and beds were spacious and clean. The staff was absolutely amazing. There were always 2 to 3 welcoming and helpful staff members waiting near the lobby door, looking to assist guests in whatever way. They were polite and spoke English very well. We opted to add breakfast and I'm so glad we did. It was a delicious meal to relax over and plan our days in Kyoto. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes to nearest subway station. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Kyoto.

Excellent hotel. Very attentive staff and always someone who could speak English. Fantastic breakfast options with both Japanese and Westerns styles. We stayed 8 nights and did not get tired of the breakfast options. Room was spacious. Bathroom and room amenities plentiful. Very clean. Superior laundry service if you want to pay for it.

Clean , comfortable , spacious rooms and excellent service . Location is in a quite residential area , far from most tourist attractions . Even the closest bus / train stations are a bit far . Though they do have a shuttle to one of the stations . Breakfast could be better - may be it was to do with we being vegetarian.
