Great location. Some buses stop in front of the hotel. The further we had to walk was 15 min. The room was clean and spacious for Japan standards. A bunk bed and a queen bed was just what we needed. Washer-dryer in the room was convenient. Hotel crew was courteous, friendly and helpful

Small compact property with 6 rooms per floor for 5 floors. Great service. The one we had was a compact for 4 of us with a kitchen and a combined laundry. 10 min walking distance to Kyoto station. A 2 min walk to Nepalese/Indian restaurant.

This hotel is premium! The room I stayed in was spotless. Lots of care was put in the design of the room. Although it’s on the smaller side, it’s clean and modern. Top notch service once I found the right Monday Kyoto Station location. Be careful when searching as there are two on the same street on opposite ends.

Excellent place to stay in Kyoto

This hotel was fantastic! I was impressed by how efficiently the room's space was utilized. It came equipped with all the necessary appliances for our stay, including a washing machine, dryer, full-sized refrigerator, hot plates, and a microwave. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, although we chose to enjoy the wonderful restaurants nearby for dinner. While the room is small by Australian standards, it suited our needs perfectly. The location was excellent, with easy access to buses and just a short walk to the railway station. Getting to the tourist attractions was a breeze, and we even rented bikes to enjoy a lovely ride to the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest.
