Really great hotel in an excellent location. The rooftop terrace bar and excellent lobby cafe really added to the experience. Breakfast wasn’t the best but everything else was great.

Loved this boutique hotel in Kyoto! The three of us (husband, adult daughter and I) were comfortable in our triple room. The hotel was clean and service top notch. ALL staff greeted us with a friendly smile and thanked us as we walked by each day. The rooftop bar was a welcome retreat after a long day of walking around downtown. The cocktails were delicious and we got a couple of tapas before dinner. One night it was chilly and they gave us blankets to sit by the fire pit and it was very cozy. The breakfast each day was outstanding and we enjoyed the wonderful pastries baked fresh daily by the CICON bakery located inside the hotel. I’m still dreaming of the bread! Definitely do not hesitate to book this hotel while in Kyoto!!!!

Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and excellent amenities. The restaurant, roof top bar, and bakery were also top notch. I would choose to stay here again in the future. The staff were very helpful and kind.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Kyoto is so beautiful and this hotel was well kept and so Accommodating. My sister left her luggage by mistake and the staff made sure to ship it to our destination in a timely manner.

I’m not sure why this place isn’t rated 5 stars. It’s so pretty, elegant, great area, nice staff and super clean. It was conveniently located to walk everywhere. I wish we were here longer.

This hotel is beautifully designed, with attention to detail. The rooms were very comfortable, and quiet and dark at night (which was great for light sleepers). Great location from which to walk or get around Kyoto.

We loved the help we received from the concierges at the front desk,they were amazing and so helpful wth restaurants, so attentive to some complicated travel arrangements we needed to make. We did not like the room we booked on the second floor (not much light and no view) and they found a solution for us to move to another floor on our second day of four, for just a reasonable additional cost. Very appreciative of their problem solving
