The hotel doesn't have many rooms, so it was quiet. Also there was a laundry on our floor which was easy to use (detergent was provided). The only thing I didn't like about the room was that there was only a desk chair, so we had to sit on the bed to eat, lounge etc.

Outstanding experience

Can't say enough great things about our stay at Racine Home and the manager there. Very large room and shower/bath for a Japanese hotel. Even provided scented bath salts for the Japanese deep bath in the bathroom. One of very few I was able to find in our 4 city trip to have a queen bed! Great, quiet area walking distance from restaurants, and about 15 minute walk to Kyoto Station for all trains and buses. The manager was outstanding, going above and beyond to provide recommendations, even made reservations for us as she speaks English very well. The onsite cafe/bar was great, order the Shabu-shabu!

Great boutique hotel

Great location to explore Kyoto! It is near Kyoto station for the main bus station and the train station. A small hotel but the room inside is big enough and amenities are all well prepared. The staffs are attentive and friendly.

Great facilities and good price

Good room facilities, well stocked shared kitchen for if you want to eat in, and in a perfect location for walking from Kyoto station. The free washing machine and dryer for guests is a real bonus!
