We absolutely loved Stitch Hotel Kyoto! The location is perfect and conveniently located with Family Mart downstairs, easy for taxi to stop and load/unload luggages. The room is amazing, very nice modern design and comfortable, got everything we need, has 2 bathroom vanity, and both toilet and shower with separate doors with privacy - not to mention the washer/dryer. Staff are friendly and polite. Will definitely stay here again.

You have to see the room in person. The photos don’t do justice. The location is the best, right at downtown Kyoto. The room is so spacious and large even for 4 adults. Will definitely go back in the future.

Great location. Good Mart and McDonald's downstairs. Helpful staff. New and clean rooms, they are very nice and the views from the room are great. If you are traveling with kids, yes there is a laundry machine (washer and dryer in one), but it takes 5 hours to wash and dry one very small load of laundry. Helpful, but good to know if you are expecting to do laundry quickly. Also, the front desk needs 24 hours notice when ordering breakfast, I didn't know that so we missed out, which was a bummer.

The only thing that prevented me from giving five stars is there was no room freshening service (making beds, freshening towels and emptying trash) because we only stayed two nights. I cannot praise this hotel enough. The room was very spacious, everything very new and in perfect condition, staff always attentive / courteous. Great for couples or groups. Overall it was our favourite stay during our trip to Japan. Location is fantastic, just across the river from Ginza, a block away from Pontocho, and the best connections by bus or trains to anywhere in Kyoto.

LOVE this hotel!!!

We absolutely loved this hotel! It was beautiful, the service was amazing, and it was centrally located in Kyoto. There’s a Family Mart right next door, which is very convenient. The washer/dryer is so great to have in the room. The only drawback is that the beds are too firm.
