waffles were chewy gooey 2 days in a row- beds were the worst We have ever experienced. , just ok on cleanliness, sink and shower drained slow (we advised staff). good rate but I think we would pay more and stay in Lacrosse next time

Cheap for a reason

There is no elevator. The rooms are okay the bathroom was dirty, caked dirt in the corners. We stayed at the Red Wing one the night before and it was so clean and comfortable. This was a complete opposite experience. Not all AmericInns are equal! Lesson learned.

How did this place have good reviews?

I’m not sure how this place had such good reviews, because the room we got had all kinds of deferred maintenance. The bathroom door didn’t latch/lock, barely even stayed closed at all (thankfully it was just my daughter and me). The shower had big holes in the surround where a bar was supposed to be, and it had clearly been gone for awhile because the holes looked all grimy and probably moldy inside the surround - who knows what the heck is inside that wall. The ceiling was dirty/moldy above the shower, the white shower curtain had a huge brown spot on it, the nightstand had a big gash in the top. We weren’t even there very long, just to sleep and shower, so there was probably more. I was just really unimpressed with the quality and cleanliness

Average hotel with above average price.

We stayed at this facility to save some money by not staying directly in Lacrosse like we preferred. It was pet friendly with a nice area for my dogs to go outside. It was in fairly good condition and clean. The hotel offered free breakfast which was decent. The negatives were the walls were not very good at keeping the sound out from other rooms. The breakfast area was small and packed with kids making it challenging to get food. And the biggest negative was that by the time I paid for the room and they tacked on an extra $50 for my dogs, I could've stayed at a nicer facility in the area I wanted for nearly the same price. Staff never asked how my stay was at check out. I likely will not be returning.

Great value!

Entire facility was clean and welcoming. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good too! We had a pet friendly room, but it was very clean and smelled fresh!

It was a quiet area and right near the locations we were visiting. Friendly front desk and large rooms with comfortable beds. The lighting is dim so the bath area could use an extra ceiling light.

The hotel is located right off the interstate and about 20 minutes outside of LaCrosse. It was very clean and staff were very nice. Breakfast wasn't anything special but the hotel itself is great. There are also local bar and grills near that are good.

Our daughter recommended as they had stayed here before and it was an easy exit off of I-90 on our way to SD. The price was right and beds were comfortable. Also very clean room.
