The Space:

Welcome to our warmly inviting condo, a ground-floor gem offering comfort, convenience, and a host of care taken to ensure your memorable stay. As you step into the living area, a cozy sleeper sofa, lounging chair, coffee table, and flat-screen TV invite relaxation. Sip your morning coffee at the breakfast bar, with ample seating, facing a nicely-appointed kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, and a full gamut of cookware and dishware essentials for your in-house dining needs. The jewel of the space, our bedroom hosts a plush king-size bed, desk workspace, and another TV, tucked away in a charming armoire. A large walk-in closet ensures your belongings never have the luggage feel! The full bathroom houses a shower/tub combo and a single vanity. Just a step away, unwind in the communal hot tub or pool – located straight in front of the unit – under California’s dreamy skies. Parking is conveniently available in the lot nearby.



Guest Access:

Guests benefit from a seamless self-check-in process via our smart lock system, with access codes provided prior to arrival. You’ll also have access to any common area keys/cards and remote control devices contained in a lock box for garage door/gate. In addition to your standalone unit, guests can enjoy shared amenities such as the hot tub, pool, free parking spaces, and more. Please note that the cost of any lost keys or openers is covered by the guest.



The Neighborhood:

Casitas Las Rosas is located in the village of La Quinta surrounding the Embassy Suites hotel. The resort condo community consists of 144 one bedroom units at approximately 700 square feet each. Four community poosl and hot tubs are spread throughout the condo buildings and are available for guest use year-round. Ample free parking is available in lots surrounding the condo buildings and hotel security monitors the property 24 hours a day. The Embassy Suites hotel is in the middle of the condo community. Casitas Las Rosas is not affiliated with the Embassy Suites but hotel amenities can be used on a fee basis including their spa and restaurant. Old Town La Quinta is located directly across Calle Tampico from the community and offers a variety of excellent dining options and local shops. Casitas Las Rosas is a perfect choice for smaller parties looking for a comfortable stay in a convenient location.



Getting Around:

Guests visiting the Coachella Valley can access a majority of the desert's attractions within 10-45 minutes by car. Ride share and taxis are available a majority of the time and are more readily available from November-April. Palm Springs International Airport is a 20-45 minute drive from most desert locations and Ontario and Los Angeles International Airport can be used as alternatives for air travel. Interstate 10 runs through the northern side of the Coachella Valley providing access to all desert cities from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego to the west and Phoenix and Las Vegas to the east and north. A car is recommended for any extended stay in the area.

Over the years we have stayed in a number of vacation condos in this particular resort (Santa Rosa Plaza). This unit is not particularly impressive. The interior and furnishings look tired. The original carpet is clean but worn. But the most irritating thing about the unit is that there are NO room darkening shades in the bedroom so that it stays light 24 hours a day thanks to the bright outside landscape lighting that stays on all night. Because of that I chose to sleep on the couch in the living room a couple of nights. There are nicer condos available for rent in this complex.

Good location, great one bedroom condo

It’s in a nice neighborhood in a clean development with access to stores, restaurants and golf courses. It’s the second time I’ve stayed in this development and will use it again the next time I come down to play golf. Well worth the money and provides all the amenities at a very reasonable cost.

Quiet and Cozy

This property turned out better than expected from looking at it online. Quiet, cozy and comfortable. If you’re “light” sensitive bring an eye shade. Black out shades would be helpful in the bedroom. Highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Awesome location to Old Town La Quinta, only a 2 minute walk. Nice little condo, perfect for a family of 3. Nice and clean, no issues. Would definitely stay there again. 5 stars.

This unit needs an overhaul

This unit has seen better days. The bathroom was unpleasant. The wallpaper was peeling off, the grout around the tub was disgusting. The plug on the tub didn’t close, so no baths only showers. The kitchen and bathroom cupboards were scuffed and watermarked. A new carpet had recently been installed, but no baseboards had been replaced. The kitchen was minimally supplied. 4 spoons, 4 forks etc. plastic bowls which could not be microwaved and one giant glass bowl. Cheap sheets ( one set), an extra blanket which haven’t been washed in years . I couldn’t wash it because it was too large to fit into the washing machine. The closet has old cardboard and a roll of extra carpet left in it. The cushions on the counter seats were stained and loose. Overall, this small patio NEVER sees the sun. There is a big overhang above ( another deck) and it faces another building which blocks any sun. It may be nice in the summer, but we were there in March and would have liked to sit outside in the sunshine. We were there for twelve day
 eleven days to long. The picture shown is a fair representation of the unit, but the closeup details were what really mattered.

Appealing unit. Close to La Quinta, steps to pool, comfortable furniture, well equipped kitchen. Needs new carpet. It was costly for 2 people, especially in Canadian $ but worth it after Covid.

What a great place to stay at. I didn’t know the area that well so I wasn’t sure where I was staying, but it was amazing. It was a great neighborhood close to restaurants and stores and the condo had everything I needed. It was so good that I’m going to stay there again in three weeks

Fantastic Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Check-in and out was super easy and clear. The apartment is immaculate, cute and comfortable. Each set of condos has it's own pool and jacuzzi, which was a lovely bonus. And the location is absolutely perfect! Walking distance to Old Town La Quinta (which has numerous fantastic restaurants). It was only about 10 minutes to Indian Wells Tennis Garden, and 30 minutes to Palm Springs. We loved everything about our stay here!
