Enjoy your privacy on the 10,000 + sq foot lot with vast double fairway views and
no homes directly in front of you. This single level, 2450 sq ft, 4 bedroom golf course
home offers large windows across the entire back of the house allowing you to take
in the beautiful view from inside the family room, bar area, kitchen or dining room.
Whether you’re here with family/ friends, on a business or golf trip this fully
stocked home will make it easy for you to enjoy yourself.

Home is fully furnished and includes cable TV and free WIFI. Kitchen is equipped
with appliances including a refrigerator, microwave, double oven, stove, traditional
drip coffee maker, toaster, blender and crockpot. Basic dining, cooking and serving
essentials including plates, bowls, silverware, wine and drinking glasses, cooking
utensils and kitchen accessories such as can opener, wine opener, measuring
spoons. No cooking ingredients/supplies such as oils, sprays, spices, foil, cling wrap
etc. will be provided.
HOUSE SUPPLIES:
Your home will be stocked with an initial supply of trash bags, paper towels, hand
soap, dishwasher pods, and toilet paper.
OTHER ITEMS:
The property is equipped with a specific quantity of bath and pool towels to
accommodate the max occupancy of the home. The bathrooms are stocked with
shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. In-home laundry room also equipped
with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron.

You can heat the pool to 86 degrees. Please refrain from attempting to
heat any higher. Please be sensible and energy conscious and make
sure to turn it off at night. Thank you!! Spa is preset to a maximum temperature of 101 degrees when turned

This is a beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay. The house itself seems to be a bit neglected and has minor repairs that need done. We WD'40'd the sliding door because it was super hard to open and close. The sliding screen door was off its tracks that we corrected. One of the lounge chairs ripped with us simply sitting on it. The blinds in the master bedroom did not go up. The dish washer kept making a beeping noise where we finally unplugged it. I'm sure it won't take a lot of time or expense to correct the minor "fix-ups". The rental company was top notch, answering phone calls immediately and wanting to send out a repair technician which we declined. The view is spectacular with the mountains and it was enjoyable watching the golfers. The house is great, just needs a little attention.

Beautiful location and lovely pool area. The home needs an overall refresh and maintenance. Seems like it's been rented a lot without much care to furniture, appliances, lighting, carpeting, and upkeep. If this is all handled, it would be a great place.

Very Nice Home

Our stay was quite nice. Very spacious and comfortable. Loved the kitchen ammenities. The house could use a "deep clean" - furniture and things are just a tad weathered. There needs to be an assessment of the hot water performance in all showers - the guest shower in the house never offered hot water, so that was a bit unfortunate. Since there were only three of us, it worked out. We enjoyed the lovely pool watfall feature, and the morning sunrises in the backyard. We also loved that the TV actually had cable channel offerings. Just a fun sisters weekend in a wonderful location.

We were very disappointed with the vacation rental this year! The carpets were stained and completely filthy with stains everywhere! They tried to cover them up with rugs! The kitchen is nicely stocked but the pots and pans have tephlon scratched off which is a health hazard! Lights don’t work in some rooms! The air conditioner system is not working as the rooms were super hot all day and night especially in master bedroom and casita! The outdoor furniture around the pool was uncomfortable and dirty cushions! The refrigerator was not cleaned out when we got there! The view was super awesome and the layout is nice! The owners need to take out the carpet or update and also update outdoor furnishings! There were stains all over the furniture too. Also, this doesn’t merit five stars!! If they updated the place it would merit five Stars!

Barely warm spa........

Hello VRBO, I would like to provide some input as to our stay at 56630 Jack Nicklaus, La Quinta between 5/29 – 6/2. I will start with the positive items. The home was very well equipped, very clean, and in good shape. The kitchen had anything that was needed to prepare meals, the pool was great, and the overall experience was great, except……the spa. One of the main reasons that we rented this home was for the spa. We were extremely disappointed that no matter how long the spa ran, the hottest it would get was 97 degrees. The only time the spa reached 97 degrees was in the middle of the day when the temperature was 98 degrees. The warmest, not hottest, it reached at night was 91 degrees. We followed the instructions, knowing that after 4 PM there was a 4 hour timer that needed to be reset to keep the spa heater on. WE reset the timer but this did no good. There is a major issue with the spa heater. I had read the comments that others had left and that they had an issue with the spa, I was naive in thinking that the spa would have been corrected from previous comments. Sorry, not the case here. I would rent the home again if there were guarantees that the spa was in good working order. Sincerely, Jim, Huntington Beach, CA

Good home in difficult community

The home was spacious and had everything we needed. The pool/backyard is a lovely place to relax and enjoy (note the rule: no music allowed at any volume at any time). I received the check in instructions email with the lockbox and alarm code left blank so I had to contact the rental company. We had some issues such as the wifi going out on the second morning of our trip. Cell service isn't great at the home so the lack of wifi caused phone communication and work difficulties. We were very disappointed that we never got to enjoy the hot tub. It would heat up to a temp in the 80s and stop. We reported this to Five Star rentals numerous times and were told a technician would be coming to fix it on two separate days, but the issue was never resolved. Also note the cot is broken if you plan to use that. Even though we liked the home, I would never stay here again due to the community rules and rental company. You get a maximum number of drivers/cars depending on home size. You must submit drivers licenses prior and no other people are allowed to drive to your home. If you're traveling with a group of friends, this is extremely problematic and annoying. Even the renter of the home, whose license must also be submitted prior, will not be allowed entry without one of the submitted drivers driving them through. The property management company, Five Star Rentals, staff was always pleasant when we were able to get them on the phone. However, if we needed anything outside their business hours, we were routed to an answering service who attempted to contact them and Five Star was supposed to contact us back. Unfortunately this resulted in us not being able to connect with them as needed many times. Considering that simple things like an uber coming to pick up or drop off must be communicated to the rental agency so they can tell the gate security, and us not always being able to get ahold of them, we had to deal with many headaches and frustrating situations. Five Star told us if we needed to use an uber, to call them and provide the name of the guest who would be arriving in the vehicle. One of our guests was arriving at a time when nobody would be home, so we notified Five Star and they told us we were all set. Yet when this guest arrived gate security did not grant access. Her Uber dropped her off and Five Star charged my credit card $2000 as a fine for their failure to notify the gate as they said they would. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE, STAY AWAY.

Great, but needs some clarification

Overall, very nice. BUT, people should know some things: 1. Billed as 4-bedroom, but the 4th (Casita) is almost uninhabitable. The AC/Heat is tied in with the house. When the AC is on, it is freezing in the Casita. When the heater is on, it's stifling. None of our people could stand it. It needs it's own thermostat. 2. The pool/spa is on a timer 8AM-4PM. So, no heating pool/spa after dinner for night time swimming or spa. 3. Irritating things like multiple light bulbs out (no replacements), instructional book needs updating. 4. Information sharing between management company and gate was bad. Even after putting names on their app as requested, gate held them up because no communication. I had to call 3 times about this. These things should be easy to fix. Then, the rental will be very nice.

Clean, comfortable, and great natural light

Our family enjoyed our stay in this spacious, comfortable home with lots of natural light. It's very clean and kitchen is great. Only concern about the kitchen is that the bottom oven was broken and the digital panel for the top oven is so dim it's impossible to read. Probably time to replace the ovens. Also no paper towel was supplied. Bedrooms were spacious but the Queen beds really are small, more like full. In the Master there really should be a King bed since there is so much room. The hot tub and pool and patio furniture are perfect. Final concern is that Netflix/Amazon did not work when we used it on our final night even when logged into our own account. It showed the menu of movies but got stuck on 25% when trying to load a movie. Wifi was working (and is fast) so that wasn't the issue. Otherwise it was a great stay!

Disappointing

The property appears to be nice from the pictures but we had to sign two contracts after we paid. Then once we arrived there were workers at the property without notice who did not wear masks. The house was not clean. The dishes, pots, pans were dirty and mostly unusable. The grounds were unkept and dirty. The outside furniture was unusable. The beds were small and very uncomfortable. Pool had no lights that worked. I can go on with more issues. It was not worth it for sure. Not going back.

Had a blast

The house was amazing. Very beautiful. We also loved the fact that the pool was salt water. There was enough space for all of us. And at night the sky was always lit up with stars very pretty. Thanks Kevin for letting us build memories in your home.

Satisfied

We enjoyed staying at this house and would definitely stay again. It’s very clean, the kitchen and bathrooms well equipped. There were extra supplies like trash bags, paper towel, dish soap, toilet paper. I like it that they provide hotel size soap, shampoo, lotion. The beds are comfortable, the sheets and towels are of good quality. Abundant pillows. The house temp is perfect. The pool water temperature is perfect. Very clean pool with warerfall overlooking the golf course. The pool guy cleaned it and it’s very clean anyway. I highly recommend this place.

Nice getaway

Lovely setting, nice pool and it worked well with our family of 8. As per instructions, no spices etc, not even salt and pepper. In need of a few cosmetic touch ups. Property manager responded quickly with our request of more towels.
