Hacienda de Palmas: Room #4 East Cape with one queen size bed

With great views to the Sea of Cortez, and centrally located in the East Cape of Baja California Sur, the Hacienda de Palmas is a boutique style bed and breakfast in the small town of La Ribera, Baja California Sur Mexico. Whether you are here for the great fishing and recreation, or just need a place to call home while visiting friends and family, the Hacienda de Palmas is ready for all your accommodation needs. The Hacienda de Palmas can accommodate larger groups, and the garden patio area is a great place to have special gatherings and stage events.

The six private rooms of the Hacienda de Palmas are spacious and clean. Most of the rooms are located on the second floor, and have their own individual style and decor. Each room has a mini fridge, new inverter style air conditioning, fans and bathrooms (with body soap, shampoo and conditioner), towels, etc.

We also have a community kitchen that guests are able to utilize during their stay between the hours of 7am through 8pm.

The property has a large outdoor courtyard, heated outdoor swimming pool, BBQ and outdoor propane fire pit.

Great atmosphere and great personal service are just the beginning of what we offer at the Hacienda de Palmas.

We truly enjoy living in La Ribera and being an important part of your visit to Southern Baja.

Quiet, clean and comfortable

Lovely hacienda style property, complete with a turtle pond! Wish the veranda faced the sea but we did have a view from small window in room (#4). Host was kind and helpful. Coffee and continental breakfast supplied in shared kitchen.

December Visit

We had a great stay before Christmas as we travelled around the East Cape area. The room was perfect and very clean and quiet. The courtyard as others have said is amazing. The location is very close to many resturants and the beautiful beaches. Jason and his helpers were very nice and wonderful hosts. We only wish we had stayed longer than two days. We will be back again for sure for a longer visit!!

Pros: nice host and a great jumping off point for Cabo Pulmo. In room mini fridge and AC. Fruit, coffee and cereal for breakfast and we were able to use the kitchen to prep a bit of food for a picnic. Staff was friendly and gave us some good tips on places to check out. Cons: some of our linens weren’t clean at check in, they were switched out once we emailed the owner. Our shower had some broken tiles in the floor which were a bit dicey. Overall, reasonable for the price but no frills here.

Great little boutique hotel

Hi, Jason was a great host. There when you needed him; invisible when you wanted privacy. Perfect. 5 distinct separate rooms, not like sharing a house, it is set up as a small hotel. Nice!!!

My wife and I are building in La Ribera and needed a place to flop for a few nights. Very nice comfortable hotel and a great value! Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Jason and Patty are very nice hosts and extremely knowledgeable about the area. I'll be back.
