We loved the high ceilings and large windows and doors that could be opened at Alessandra's apartment. The living room & bedrooms are spacious and airy. The flat is in a lovely historic building with an elevator; it's close to everything yet quiet at night. She's a wonderful host and provided everything we needed.
The property was elegant and spacious, with a terrific location close to restaurants and within a quick walk to the train station! Alessandra was a wonderful, communicative host who welcomed us to the property and provided wonderful recommendations for dinner. It was a great place to stay to explore the area (Cinque Terre and Portovenere).
The proximity of the apartment to the train station and the port made our daily excursions very easy to organise. Casa llda was spacious, clean, comfortable and situated in a quiet neighbourhood which made for a very enjoyable holiday. The host was just wonderful, nothing was too much trouble
The photographs tell the story. A gracious apartment in an old building with every convenience. Fabulous location. Walk everywhere. Quiet at night. You'll love it too.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment, which was well appointed, nicely decorated, and convenient to the train station and ferry dock. It is also right on a pedestrian mall with tons of shopping and food options. Alessandra was wonderful, and we hope to return to La Spezia!
Alessandra was a wonderful host and has a beautiful apartment. My wife had an unfortunate accident in Florence just before arriving to La Spezia. Alessandra was very accommodating and patient with us in checking in and provided us with some good advice for the area. We had to cut our trip a day short but Alessandra was very accommodating in allowing us to check out late so that my daughters and I could explore Cinque Terre. I am already planning to return to spend more time in Cinque Terre but would do so in September or October when all the restaurants and shops are open. This was a very positive experience.
Everything about this apartment was perfect! So comfortable and beautifully furnished. Close to grocery, good restaurants and easy walk to train station. We enjoyed seeing cinque terre then returning to this quiet oasis. The host was very helpful. She even told us we could get a refund bc our train was 2 hours late. Would highly recommend this apartment. Note that there is no door from the living room to second bedroom (which we did not use) but if more than a couple traveling, good info.
We had a great stay in Alessandra's gorgeous apartment. It was really well located, comfortable and had great amenities. Alessandra was super helpful and made everything easy.
this apartment was beautiful - nothing to fault -clean, airy and bright and quiet - kitchen well stocked (not that we used it with so many restaurants within a 60 second walk), bed and living area very comfortable - great views of the architecture from all windows. The area was close to everything. Our Host Alessandra was there to meet us and was truly wonderful and we were so grateful to have stayed there highly highly recommended and thank you Alessandra. We will be back.
A place we would love to visit again! The host is very accommodating and lovely! The apartment is spacious and decorated beautifully! Super convenient location!
We had a wonderful time at this apartment. Great location and duel balconies on either side of the place really sealed the deal. Host was wonderful as well, and easy to reach for any issues (there wasnât any!)
No A/C - but that shouldnât be a concern. Giant floor to ceiling windows on either side of the apartment and in every room provide plenty of circulation even in the August heat.
Thanks again, we had a blast!
Beautiful, well-appointed apartment in the middle of La Spezia! Quick walk from train station! All the shops, restaurants, marina just steps away! Awesome communication with host! Love it!
We enjoyed this beautiful apartment set in the heart of LaSpezia. Our host was very kind and helpful and was spot on with her recommendations for supper
I would definitely stay in this apartment again and will recommend it to my friends. Grazie Mille!
Mother/Daughter trip brought us to Alessandraâs Casa Ilda. The home was a perfect location for the two of us as we planned on taking the train to hike Cinque Terre, as well as day trips to both Florence and Pisa. The train was a quick 5 minute walk.
My mom and I took advantage of coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on one of the two balconies each day. Internet connection was great and we also used the washing machine to do laundry after our hikes. The beds were great size with various pillow types. We didnât use the tv at all, but could use Netflix (our account) if needed.
We have recommended Alessandraâs home to friends already who are heading to Cinque Terre in June.
Stayed two nights here to visit Cinque Terre. 5 minutes to the train station but La Spezia was a bonus great place. Make sure to make a reservation at Ostaria all Inferno for a memorable dinner.
The entire stay was fabulous thanks to an easy check in, beautiful apartment, and excellent location right in the middle of the action. Highly recommend! If you need parking, the train station lot is perfect just 5 minutes walk.
