Welcome to our relaxing cozy Rose Cottage with beautiful shaded yard, located in quaint and peaceful town about 25 scenic minutes to Zion National Park. Additional tourist attractions less than an hour away are Sand Hollow Reservoir, Tuacahn outdoor theater, St George, Cedar City Shakespeare Festival, Sand Canyon Park, Kolob, Virgin River hiking trails and several golf courses. Also, about 2 hours away, you can visit Bryce Canyon, north rim of Grand Canyon, Brian Head Ski Resort and Las Vegas.
Enjoy the cozy cottage touch of the enchanting Rose Cottage. There are even a few fairies about in the gardens and inside the cottage. Beautiful yard with fruit trees - apricot, pear, plum and pomegranate. You can relax in the nicely shaded back yard. Have a nice Barbeque on the patio. For your enjoyment inside the cottage, there are three smart TVs, wi-fi, video games, board games, and an interesting library of classic books. Fully stocked kitchen

Your Yahtzee game needs dice. The knives in the could be just a tad bit sharper for those of us who like to use a kitchen while vacationing. Other than that, all was GREAT!!!

Nice older house in a quiet neighborhood with everything needed for your stay. Perfect location to visit Zion about 20 minutes away as Springdale and park booths weren’t crowded. Grocery store very close

Great house

The house and everything supplied was great. However the backyard wasn’t as depicted in the pictures. Just a few weeds but the patio furniture was missing cushions (the pillows that are there aren't in the best shape) and had to be cleaned. Chairs that were shown in the picture were just up against the side of the house with the cushions laying on the ground. Pond is empty and the swing is unusable. We were looking for a nice outdoor space and would not have chosen this in the condition that it was in.

The Rose Cottage

Absolutely gorgeous!Very elegantly decorated (rose themed of course) yet very practical. From the ease of access to the abundance of kitchen items to towels and linens coupled with the cleanliness of the house, we could not have asked for more. Will definitely stay here again.

Great Family Hiking Get-A-Way!

My family of five stayed here for a week while visiting Zion and Bryce. It is in a quiet, safe neighborhood with some trails to hike right out of the backyard. We enjoyed having enough space for all members (adults, tween, kids) to enjoy their R & R time when we weren’t out hiking. My daughter loved searching for and writing to the fairies - it made all the more magical for her. The location was ideal: close to everything we wanted to see, close to shopping/dining, but away from the crowds! We would consider staying here again!

Relaxing Home Feel

You will feel relaxed and welcomed in Gary & Sue home! There are good books you can read, each bedroom is uniquely named, and hiking at a park right outside of their home. Stay in LaVerkin

This property is located about 20 miles from Zion NP so a good location for exploring the park. It was a very well equipped and clean. The beds were very comfortable and it offered a very cozy and inviting place to stay. We loved it and would highly recommend it.

Tranquil and clean!! cottage

This adorable cottage was CLEAN, spacious, and comfortable. Host thought of everything! We even found a cooler in the pantry, coffee, ice and a few staples. Wonderful beds. Great temperature control. Quiet. So many nice surprises. No bad surprises. Highly recommend.

A Great Zion Hub!

This house has everything promised in the description and photos. It was extremely well equipped with kitchen equipment, extra towels, extra pillows, etc. The rooms, bathrooms, and hallways all have nightlights as well. All the little details are taken care of. The owners provided a lot of little extras, like a wide variety of tea and cozy socks to wear inside the house. Additionally, to complement their rose garden / fairy garden theme, they left a little "treasure hunt" for my children to find notes from the fairies. My girls loved looking for these. The house backs up to a green space that provide a cool view of the surrounding hills and virgin river. I enjoyed being over there at sunrise and sunset each day of our stay. One night, we woke up to the rustle of deer eating in the backyard. While still in a traditional housing area, you are still close to nature. The house was about 30 minutes from Zion Canyon and 25 minutes from Kolob Canyon, and both drives were beautiful. You are also five minutes or less from many eateries and grocery options along State Route 9. The owners obviously care a great deal about the comfort and care of their renters. We arrived extremely late a night after a long drive from California. When we pulled up, the owners had gone in and turned on the house lights for us so that we would not arrive in the dark. It was a very sweet gesture that made our arrival so much easier. My daughters have already asked when we can go back.

Cozy home
