The property was very well maintained and the attention to detail was excellent. They have kept the look of the era of the home very much intact, like stepping back in time. Even though it is off of a main road it was very peaceful in the morning. The staff were very friendly and attentive to your needs.

Freindly staff easy check in and a beautifull old queen anne home. Right next to the river. Breakfas t was hot and tasty with a fluffy bowl of yogurt and fresh fruit .

Stayed for a night, the house is absolutely lovely, our room was cozy and spacious, the staff is welcoming and kind, and the breakfast was fantastic. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Elegant, beautifully decorated Victorian B&B, with friendly host/staff and a great breakfast.Our private bath was just down the hall, other rooms had ensuite bathrooms.Highly recommend this inn if you're passing through the area! Note:The property is slightly set back from a main thoroughfare; the A/C screened out any traffic noise for us.

The property is lovely. The Victorian feel is in everything the Inn provides and is enchanting. The food was delicious, service superior and friendly, and the extra waters and treats most welcomed. Worth checking this lovely inn out!!!

Beautiful Inn

We were so happy with our stay! Place was beautiful and historical! Staff was so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the history of the inn. Breakfast was delicious with many homemade fresh components! Will definitely be back!

Don't miss this hidden Gem

We absolutely loved the home and the staff. At first, didn't realize it was a Bed and Breakfast....that was the bonus. The "Care Takers" were warm and friendly. And this OLD home, was not old at all. It was very well taken care of and maintained. Breakfast was delicious. The front porch with rocking chairs, and the river ran past the property. Short walk to a small downtown area with shops and restaurants. Hope to stay again soon. Our stay here was because we were passing through. We wish we stayed longer!!!!

Midweek getaway

Quant bed and breakfast tucked into a small town. Older building, like most b&b's, so you can hear a lot of sounds. The room we stayed in was perfect for a romantic get away. Breakfast was awesome. Stayed here before and definitely will again. Also, if they are open I strongly recommend heading to Tilton H.O.P., some of the best greek style pizza in all of NH less than a half mile away.

Pros: the room was large enough for 2 adults and 1 teenager, breakfast was good, staff puppy dog was adorable, convenient location, owners responded quickly to texts. Cons: owners not on sight, lots of needs for repairs, the room was excruciatingly hot with no ability to adjust the temp, dog running around the kitchen didn't seem right, baked goods and drinks in common area were not replenished sorting the stay and what was out was stale. Side note... couple who tended the inn were on and off friendly. Drank openly outside (beer and hard alcohol) - neither ever introduced themselves which was odd. Walked into a drumming and spiritual medium class in the living room - felt disruptive going in and out but it was our only option at the time and they were in the living room/entrance so little we could do there. Main Street traffic was loud so something to consider. We've stayed at a number of B and B's. This was not the worst by any means, but not the best for the price in our opinion.
