The entrance door leads directly to the first floor where you find: WC, Fully fitted kitchen and large open living room with sliding doors leading to the balcony. From here admire the lovely inviting atmosphere combined with an amazing view – comfortable seating for 4 people.
Downstairs is a double and twin bedroom both with en-suite bathrooms, fitted wardrobes and terraces. Available upon request is a topper to convert the twin beds to a king-size double bed.
You have use of Vila Castelo's communal swimming pool.
Ferragudo is located just 8 minutes from Carvoeiro & Portimao. It has recently become one of the most fashionable holiday resorts on the Algarve and it’s easy to see why. It still retains that original fishing village charm, with one of the most picturesque harbours on the coast and only minutes away from some of the finest beaches in Portugal

The townhouse is in a superb situation. It is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The housekeeping team led by the very helpful Isabel look after the property efficiently. This is a most professionally managed property. Though we had terrible weather during our stay, the house was a great place to stay. Would highly recommend.
We were allowed to experience a fantastic stay; beautiful views of the castle, the Arade River and Portimao marina. There are also easy to book boat trips going to the Benagil cave. The apartment is centrally located i the Algarve and via the A22 it is easy to visit other cities like Tavira, Faro, Lagos by rental car.... In Ferragudo, there is a great choice of restaurants all within walking distance. The pool at Vila Castelo provided some cooling down.
Overall our stay was great. There were a few short comings with the property comparrd to others we have stayed in. We previously owned an apartment ourselves and always compare standards to our own. We felt that, for the price, somethings require a little tlc. The sun loungers on the balcony have seen better days with one of them having a broken slat. The electric awning didnt work properly as the remote control.was broken. The rowel rail in the shower room needs tightening. The door to the toilet upstailrs only shuts if you slam it.
The table on the balcony is ok for 2 people but a little small when we invited friends for dinner so if 4 people staying it is not ideal.
The proximity to the road meant it was noisy.
The view was by far the best selling point of the apartment and it was fabulous however the rental price should not be based on this alone.
With a little bit of money being spent this apartment would be really great
