Nice stay within the City Wall

TrÚs bon séjour à Lagos. La localisation de la maison est parfaite, dans la vieille ville et juste à cÎté des remparts, ce qui y rend lŽaccÚs simple. Relativement facile de se garer à 10 minutes à pied. Il y a tout ce quŽil faut dans la maison, et Gina & Kirk sont trÚs réactifs et flexibles!

TrÚs bon séjour

L’appartement de Gina Ă  Lagos est trĂšs bien situĂ©, dans la vieille ville, avec toutes les commoditĂ©s Ă  proximitĂ© Ă  pied. Le confort et l’espace est au rendez-vous avec entre autre une cuisine et un sĂ©jour trĂšs agrĂ©able Ă  vivre (on s’y sent trĂšs vite chez soi). Seul petit bĂ©mol : en cette saison (hiver), il y avait des odeurs de renfermĂ© dans une des chambres en bas, qu’il n’est pas facile d’aĂ©rer lorsqu’on est absent car elle donne sur la rue. Hormis ce petit inconvĂ©nient, nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour et nous reviendrons Ă  l’occasion avec grand plaisir. Gina nous a rĂ©servĂ© un trĂšs bon accueil, en s’adaptant Ă  nos horaires, et s’est montrĂ© trĂšs rĂ©active Ă  nos questions et demandes. En rĂ©sumĂ© donc un sĂ©jour trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ© et une location Ă  recommander avec un trĂšs bon rapport qualitĂ©/prix!

Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ©s l'accueil de Gina. Les explications de tout ce que la maison comprends, sa disponibilitĂ© pour nous renseigner sur Lagos, sa prĂ©sence Ă  rĂ©pondre Ă  nos besoins. Surtout, que cette maison Ă  une belle Ă©nergie. Nous sommes prĂȘts de tout, plage et centre ville pour rĂ©pondre Ă  nos besoins. Ne pas oublier le bon resto Ă  la porte d'Ă  cĂŽtĂ©, avec le super accueil de Basil...

Everything we could have wished for

We couldn’t have had a better holiday. Fifth time in Lagos and the best accommodation so far. So convenient it’s unreal. Absolutely spotlessly clean when we arrived and just a pleasure to sit at the veranda and watch the street life, and listen to the chat from the excellent Ala do Castelo restaurant next door, who were wonderfully welcoming. Nothing but praise for the accommodation. A fantastic base to explore the amazing city of Lagos. We’ll be back.

Great Location! Beds need upgrade

Gina was a wonderful host! She met us at the property and was very friendly and communicative. You can’t beat the location - close to the beach and the center of old town! The space was clean. There are two bedrooms downstairs right when you walk in, and one bedroom upstairs by kitchen and the living room. There is only AC in the living room and the upstairs bedroom - not the two downstairs bedrooms. 2/3 bedrooms are double twins, one is a full size. I enjoyed everything about this stay except the beds
they did not have a mattress cover and the beds are on a spring mattress with no padding. The pillows are so old, worn, and thin with cotton coming out
this would receive 5 stars if the bedding and towels were updated. Other than that, it was a nice stay and a great price.

Stadthaus zu empfehlen, wenn man nicht GerÀusch empfindlich ist.

Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr zentral, alles was man braucht ist in unmittelbarer NĂ€he. Das Nachbarlokal nutzt die StellflĂ€che direkt vor dem Haus zum parken. Folgedessen keine Aussicht und Abgase in den unteren Zimmern. Leider wird die Straße zusĂ€tzlich extrem genutzt. Viele Autos, MotorrĂ€der und lautes Publikum in der Nacht / in den Morgenstunden.

Ideal location in the Old Town

The apartment was perfect for our stay as we wanted to be near the action and vibe of the old town, but not so close as to be noisy. We had a lovely restaurant below the apartment, and small supermarket and other shops very close by. And of course the beach just across the road. We managed great with the car, once we sorted out the one way route through the old town, and managed to get parking very close to the apartment.

Perfect Lagos Vacation

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. We’ve never been to Lagos so we weren’t sure about locations. This town house was the perfect location to walk to beaches, the marina and in town with all the restaurants. We parked our car (free parking) for the duration of our stay and walked everywhere. The town house is exactly how it appears in the pictures. Since it was only my husband and I we only utilised the upstairs. But we did enjoy how spacious the town house was. The host Gina was more than helpful with communications and help with directions. A couple of more towels could have been left but otherwise it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again

Great Time in Lagos!!!

We came to the Algarve region mainly to go golfing with a group of three. We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms, plus shared kitchen and living room which was more than enough room for all of us. Staying at Gina’s place was a perfect central hub for not only the golf; which was fantastic, but also the town of Lagos itself, and all the other amenities that were close at hand. We were located in Old Town, close to beaches, and the roads leading to wherever we needed to go. Gina was always available for whatever we needed and was a fantastic host and resource to our trio. We plan on visiting the region and lodgings once again next year to enjoy the hospitality provided.

WOW what can I say. About fantastic time staying in this property. There was 4 of us staying and when we arrived Gina was there to greet us and run through all utilities. Gina gave us a very warm welcome and the property was situated so close to everything required. We have stayed in Lagos Mary times and by far this was one of the best. A Royal Stay!!

My husband and I were traveling with our three daughters (19, 21 and 22) and had an absolutely lovely stay at Gina’s flat — inside the Castle walls! The accommodations were even better than indicated in the pictures. The flat was clean, organized and spacious— perfect for our our family. We loved the indoor and outdoor living space. Gina is an exceptional host— helpful, friendly and so welcoming. She was flexible in meeting us later than we originally planned and was waiting with a big smile when we arrived. The central location was perfect for walking to the beach and all the local sights. Gina left loads of helpful travel guides and material and we took advantage of the beaches and boat tours right out of the nearby marina. We even found a lively church (Oasis Christian Church) that was only a four minute walk and met loads of friendly locals and visitors there— what a treat! We all hope to return to Lagos and would definitely stay at Gina’s again. Highly recommend!!
