This newly updated cute and comfortable 3 bedroom home, now with A/C sleeps 7 people and is perfect for family or friends that want to relax on the beach and enjoy the beautiful country surroundings of the North Shore. The master bedroom has a Cal King bed, private master bath and walk- in closet. There are 2 more bedrooms- one with a queen bed and the other with 2 twin beds. A sleeper sofa in the living room sleeps 2 more. There is also a second bathroom with a tub/shower. All linens and beach towels are provided as well as 2 boogie boards, snorkels, beach chairs, and beach toys. If you decide to cook during your stay, enjoy a full kitchen equipped with appliances and conveniences to do so. There is also a small grill if you prefer to cook outside. WiFi and Apple TV are included. There is a spacious 2 car garage and washer/dryer facilities for guest use.

We loved our stay in this home. The owners could not have been better to work with. Kelly always responded quickly during the booking process and was more than accommodating. I had one tiny concern during our stay and it was resolved before I even got home from the beach! The home itself was wonderful. I was a little bit concerned that it might feel cramped with 5 adults, a pre-teen and a teenager. I was specifically concerned about space in the common areas. My concerns were for naught. It was roomy and comfortable for everyone! There is tons of storage in the kitchen. Grocery shop with reckless abandon! The only caution I would give is that the grill is a very small charcoal grill, so plan accordingly for that. As a side note, the washer and dryer are by far the nicest I have used in Hawaii. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and would recommend it.!

Relax

This VRBO home was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the pace of locals. Everything could be walked to within 15 minutes--grocery, touristy places, take out food, and the beach is only 3 minutes away. The home itself was perfect for us-garage, plenty of kitchen supplies, floor for baby to play on, wonderful towels for the bathroom, excellent beach toys. It was a great place to relax after being on the beach or out doing other things.

Amazing

My wife and I with our five children absolutely loved this house. Every time we needed something in the kitchen or bathroom this house had it. The owner Kelly could not have been better to work with. We stayed for the month of January and tried many different beaches but my children loved the Hukilau beach the most and it's right there! Wonderful north shore stay! Thank you, Kelly, for sharing this home with us!

Wonderful Visit

This was our second time staying in this home and it was even better than the first. You can tell that the hosts care about this property and are continually improving it. It was stocked with everything we needed, sparkling clean and comfortable. Kelly is the best host we have ever stayed with. He makes you feel like you are staying in a friend's home and is above and beyond helpful. This is a wonderful rental.

The place in Laie was just perfect for us for a month work-ation. It was in a great location just minutes away walking from many beaches and the local stores. The house itself was really nicely put together, with the living room actually being a bit bigger than we expected in the images (a nice little surprise) and the place was really well equipped and decorated. It was the little extra things though that made this such an excellent stay. The group leaving us surfboards and boogie boards for use made a huge difference, and the little things like providing paper towel, laundry detergent and other soap stuff. Even something that could have been really annoying like the breaking down of the air conditioning showed more about them than anything. Once we identified it was not working, they were there in a couple of hours initially to try and fix themselves and then later that day with a qualified expert. Neither of those things worked, so on a Saturday (the next day) they organized and executed the installation of a new system. You can't control when things break down, but you can control how you react to this, and I thought it was remarkable service. Thanks so much for sharing your place and community with us, it was an amazing experience

Charming House

The house was charming and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and dishes. The people before us lost the TV remote, but Kelly was very accommodating in helping us find it. Recommend it for families.

Great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. After we resolved how to safely drive out of the property we were good to go. The kitchen was well stocked (a pitcher would be nice), bedrooms very nice, and bathrooms as well. We loved the Hukilau beach and the closeness of shopping just down the way. Our teens had a fantastic time and could easily walk to the beach on there own. Loved having laundry available❀ The owners might consider removing the old metal frame going out the back door. With the frame there is not enough clearance for your hand to close the door if you are unaware (had one smashed finger). Would highly recommend this home and would love to come back. Thank you for a great week.

Our family had a wonder time and the accommodations and amenities were excellent.

The property is very well maintained and clean. The A/C came in very handy in the master bedroom and living room although the two smaller bedrooms did not have ac. They did have ceiling as well as floor fans to reduce the heat. This place is nearby markets , beach’s, and a ton of eating places. The only drawback is it is on the main highway and a little noisy if you are on the porch but you can’t hear the noise as much inside.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Laie Property. Everything was so modern , comfortable and clean. The beds were very comfortable with really nice bedding. Everything was provided for us that we needed. Loved the AC and washer and dryer. Also having the use of lawn chairs, snorkels, boogie boards and beach towels helped out so much. We loved the owners, really nice people. I cannot say enough good things!!! When we come back we will be booking here for sure.

Beautiful home, fantastic stay

I really didn't want to write a negative review, however I do feel like this information can be useful to the owners and future guests. Here are the things that made it so we won't rent from these owners again: 1. In the rental email I received prior to our arrival, it said the house would be unlocked with the key on counter. The house was unlocked, but no key in sight. The door is installed with a key pad, but there was no mention of a code anywhere. The following morning, when we wanted to leave, I had call the owners to ask about it. (There are people living downstairs, and we were told we could ask them questions, but we didn't know where their front door was and actually never saw them while we were there). When I spoke to the owners, they gave me the code, no big deal. But then they asked if they could come over to do some minor repairs. I thought it was odd, but said yes. That was the first thing that bothered me. The repair should have been done prior to our arrival or waited until we had checked out for the week. 2. Throughout the week, I received almost daily emails from the owners. Reminder to do this (or not do something), one about the washer and dryer, one asking if we found a watch from someone else who had stayed there before us, one about parking, one about the garage. It was too much. I felt like they were watching and hovering over our stay. They even came over to drop off toilet paper and paper towels. Which is nice to have, but again, that should have been stocked before our arrival. I have rented several houses, all over, and have never had this happen. It shouldn't have felt like we were staying with them and it did. 3. The laundry. Online, it says that there is a washer and dryer available for guests to use. Awesome, especially when you have 4 kids! I was doing a load a day and loving it. Until I got an email asking when I'd be done so that the people living downstairs could use it. I thought it was for us? So I replied, said I'd be done by noon and they could have it the rest of the day. The next morning, I threw a load in and off we went for the day. When I got back, our laundry had been moved from the washer, dried and put in our bag. First, I had things in the washer that I didn't want dried and second, I don't want people I don't know touching my underwear. It felt rude and invasive. Overall, the house was nice and in good shape, but with the way they ran it, we won't be back.
