Lake Havasu tiny home
Publié le 23 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt is a beautiful area. The Crazyhorse Camp ground was nice. The actual home was very small and needed a bit of tlc. We had tv and internet for the first week, but then it was turned off. The property manager helped at first but then decided it wasn't his problem. So the last 3 weeks of our stay we had neither. The neighbors,who were permanent residents, fought throughout the night and were generally horrible. We will definitely be visiting Lake Havasu again, but NOT renting this unit.

I am disappointed in your review. I have only had mostly good reviews. I give a accurate description on my tiny cottage with actual pics. It even says it it is 420 square feet and was updated a little over 2 years ago. I would love suggestions on what I can do to make it better in the tlc department. Also, I will let the park management know the neighbors are making my guests uncomfortable. Thank you for letting me know because I would not know without your feedback. As for the internet, I tried to rectify it and now have switched companies. If I get those issues corrected would you stay there again. If so I would extend a a 25% discount. Please reconsider your review as several of the issues were beyond my control and thank you for bringing this to my attention!

Publié le 8 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayHello the house it self is nice there was a few thing wrong the key box to get the get put gave us problems the location of the house was not what we wanted there was cat hair all over the bathroom towels was kind of crazy two big towels and 5 floor towels with 2 wash clothes the bed in the room was not comfortable on one side it seemed to be more sore down we ran out of propane in the middle of cooking our dinner and was out of propane for 13 hours the own did apologize and sent me back 100 which was ok but my dinner alone was 100 that I was cooking plus I had to go get food so my kids didn’t go to bed with out eating . The bugs outside the door was crazy. We left a day early.

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay.
I have spoke to my property manager and cleaner to makes sure the property is clean and prepared for guests arrival. I don't know why there would be cat hair as a cat has not stayed at the propety or at least not to my knowledge or permission. I did reiterate to make sure the cleaner does a better inspection of the unit and clean a prepare it properly for guests arrivals. We also put a new memory foam mattress topper on the be for improved comfortability. The mattress is only 1.5 years old.
I did have my property manager refill the propane the next day after you alerted me to this. Also, I told you immediately that there is a propane filling station in the community that you could take the tank to and they will refill it and put in on my account. However, you were not comfortable doing that so the property manager came and did it the next day and I reimbursed you $100 for dinner.
We did replace the keybox once you alerted us that this one gave you some difficulties.
As for the bugs outside.... they are just part of the climate and season in this area and nothing I can do about that.

Trailorpark
Publié le 26 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe decided not to stay there as it was not what we thought it was suppose to be. It was a trailer in a trailer park. The bed mattress was thick piece of foam on top of bed springs!

I was never informed you did not stay until you left this unfair review. The Crazy Horse community if an RV/Manufactured Home park that is well known, popular and respected. The photo's show the unit is a manufactured home--cottage/bungalow style. I had my manager/cleaner go to the property after I learned you chose not to stay and there is indeed the newer queen mattress and box springs with a Memory foam topper we put on the bed about 6 months ago for added comfort. I am actually going to the property on the 5th to inspect it with my own eyes. Furthermore, we have positive review, satisfied and repeat guests. I am truly sorry your unrealistic expectations were not met. I did refund the pet and cleaning deposit to you once I leaned you did not stay after the fact. Nobody contacted me during this reservation. Best Regards, Todd

Nice place with a great view and low traffic area.

Great kitchen with everything you need. Big outside patio you can sit in the bar stools and view Lake Havasu. The patio has a gas grill and a wood/charcoal grill and fire pit out back.

Quiet area, great location
Publié le 19 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayVery cute little house! Perfect for 2 people. there was a little bit of confusion when checking in with the ladies at the front but no problem. Amazing location, close enough to the lake and boy was it was HOT! We stayed during the hottest time of year, the AC worked but the house didn't get cooler than 83°, slightly uncomfortable. Very easy drive to all the things in town, the grounds were quiet, always had our own space at the beach. Neighbors were very friendly. The house was.. relatively clean. Nothing that made me feel gross but there was some trash from the person who stayed before, crumbs and sand on the floors. We did have little visitor as well, I know it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to live in a house and not have a mice run around at some point. I usually wouldn't post about the little guy but the lack of care or urgency to rectify the situation when I let the owner know he had a mouse in the house gave me a bad taste in my mouth. Night 1 we saw him so the next day we bought a few traps on our own money. (a whole $5!.. sarcasm no big deal). But I let him know and he didn't seem worried, said he "Had never had that problem before and can send a cleaning person to lay traps". I would have been fine with that but he didn't respond with this until the afternoon of the NEXT day and by then we had already got our own. Didn't apologize or offer anything to make us feel more comfortable as we had 4 days left. Other than that, a very cute little place to live. Gave us the push in the right direction meeting new people and exploring the town. Would come back to Crazyhorse !

Fan in bedroom could be tightened. Very noisy.

Cozy Stay
Publié le 8 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayOverall this property is nice and was perfect for my family. I will say the beds are not comfortable at all, like sleeping on coils. The bathroom smelled of urine, not sure if there is a plumbing issue. When we arrived the bathroom handsoap was empty, so you may want to consider bringing your own and the bathtowls are thin and very small. Part of the upgrades would be better quality towels. Overall a good stay and would consider this place again.

Thank you for your review. inwill check the plumbing and am going to put nice memory foam topper on the bed and another in the closet for the sofa sleeper as you are the 2nd person to say that. I will check the towels too as I am going to the property myself to do an inspection and stay for a couple days.
