Please Note: Lake Lure was impacted by Hurricane Helene in Sept 2024. While the area is rebuilding and many businesses are reopening, the lake remains closed. Our cottage continues to host peaceful, restorative stays, but some guests find limited activities. We recommend researching current conditions via local FB groups or the town website to best plan your trip. Conveniently accessible throughout the year without the need for a truck or 4x4, this home offers cleanliness, safety, and tranquility. It seamlessly blends modern comforts with the allure of mountain living, allowing guests to stay connected while unwinding. Enjoy breathtaking views from two of the three bedrooms and three patios. Each room is equipped with its own TV featuring popular streaming services and high-speed internet. The lower level patios offer relaxation with swings, hammock chairs, and a picnic table, complemented by cozy couches and an electric fireplace indoors. Engage in interactive games on the magnetic wall upstairs or enjoy fun activities downstairs. An Electric Vehicle (EV) Level 2 Charging Station is available. Whether you seek adventure or relaxation, this inviting space invites you to experience the charm of the house and the surrounding area firsthand. The entire home and property are exclusively for guests Throughout your stay, I will be readily accessible for any inquiries or issues via phone, text, or the Airbnb messaging platform. Accessing both the house and its neighborhood is straightforward. The gentle slope of the roads and level driveway ensure easy accessibility year-round. The neighborhood offers a serene and tranquil environment. Once in Lake Lure, getting to the local shops, attractions, lake and beach are very easy and within minutes of an easy drive. This home accommodates a maximum of 10 guests with 3 bedrooms and 4 beds. Additional sleeping space is available with 2 air mattresses and couches. Dogs are permitted with a pet cleaning fee option, and cleaners are informed to provide thorough cleaning for future guests. Pets must refrain from furniture, and guests are responsible for pet hair removal and cleanup. Bedroom layout includes a Queen bed, Full/Full bunk bed, and King bed with a full bathroom. Please consult the guidebook for further details. Notice: Beginning November 1, 2023, a drawdown of the lake will take place until March 31, 2024, to facilitate infrastructure projects. These include GLS project, dredging, seawall and boathouse maintenance, dam and hydroelectric plant upkeep, and sewer cleaning. Lake refilling commences on March 31st, subject to weather conditions and rainfall.

We loved sitting on the porch and taking in the view of Lake Lure and the mountains with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening! Great location to Chimney Rock and Rumbling Bald(for fellow rock climbers out there). Excellent, timely communication with the owner. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. Very clean with a cozy cabin retreat feel. We chose this mountain house so we would have a view and to be close the chimneys rock. Nice large deck to enjoy that view. Our host were in quick communication with us for check-in and check-out. Sent us all the information needed for a smooth stay. I was happy to see Lake Lure is making a come back after the hurricane.

Great stay at the house in Lake Lure. The house is convenient to all of the main attractions; with about a 10 minute drive to the Lake Lure Beach and the Lake House Restaurant for reference.

Very clean and fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. Quiet location yet close to restaurants, beach, and shops. Beautiful views of mountains and the lake. We loved it and had an enjoyable holiday! Would definitely recommend.

Amazing view

We’re really pleased with staying at Lure you inn. The house provided everything you could want and more than other vacation homes we’ve stayed at. The view from back deck was amazing and could have spent most of the time there. The location was very central to the lake and chimney rock.

Peaceful retreat

Clean except for some stray spiderwebs. Very comfortable beds. The upper deck is the star of this home, with great view north of Chimney Rock park. It will be even better when the Lake is filled again.

The view from the outside deck overlooking the lake in the mountains is absolutely beautiful, especially at night sunset. Huge master downstairs is incredible as well. Spiral staircases a little tricky. Easy location to get to the beach, grocery store shops and chimney Rock Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

Cozy, comfortable cabin in the mountains

Great host! Ryan was super attentive to all our needs. House is lovely, safe neighborhood. We saw a bear, and some deer. Lots of things closed due to hurricane damage. No lake, no beach, no water park. Our granddaughters were pretty bored. Hope to return when everything is open again.

Amazing Weekend

This home will most definitely be a repeat location. From initial booking all the way to departure the communication was amazing and the listing was exactly as described. So close to everything but feels far away. We sat on the porch each night and watch the storms come across the mountain. How relaxing. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Family getaway at the lake

We had a wonderful time at Lake Lure this summer. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and well stocked with all the things you would need to have an enjoyable stay at the lake. The neighbors are extremely friendly. The house is close to the lake. The upper porch, family room/dining area, and one of the bedrooms overlooks the lake. There are restaurants close by. We went to the Biltmore House, which is a 45 min. drive, and Chimney Rock which is the next town. We highly recommend this home to anyone who would love to have a relaxing vacation at Lake Lure.

Close to chimney rock

We enjoyed our stay here. The decks were nice. The beds were comfy. The AC thermostat was odd. We enjoyed the lower level hammock chairs. We were a little disappointed in the lack of view of the lake. The trees were too bushy. Overall our stay was nice and enjoyable. Close to chimney rock and tubing at green river cove was really fun. We would stay here again if we ended up in that area. Ryan was very responsive to any questions we had. Very nicely updated on the inside.

What a beautiful view of the lake!

My family came to visit from California and stayed in this home. The home was so cozy and the view of Lake Lure was terrific! The responsiveness from the owner was amazing. They struggled with starting the fire place and he did it remotely. We will definitely be renting this home again.

Amazing views and more

Ryan and Jenny are wonderful hosts. Their place has everything you could need and more. The views from the deck are amazing! Everything was clean and the furniture was so comfortable. Their place was in a good location for visiting many of the attractions and points of interest in the area. I highly recommend staying here.
