Fully furnished with linen, duvets and towels provided. Large deck with outdoor furniture and BBQ. Master bedroom has its own balcony that overlooks lake and boat ramp. Also on site for your use is a double garage. Pohutukawa Lake House-Lake Tarawera sleeps 7. Lake access is nearby with a selection of excellent beaches. Reserve opposite. Only 3 minutes by car to boat ramp.
WiFi, Netflix, a wide range of indoor games available along with up to date magazines, DVD collection and library. There is also a table tennis table, 2 mountain bikes, cricket set, rugby ball, soccer ball available for your use.
Enjoy lake edge walks, swimming, fly fishing or explore the lake. Ten minutes drive to the Landing Cafe and Buried Village. 15 minute drive to mountain bike carpark to access 150km+ of world famous Whakarewarewa mountain bike trails and the Forest Loop Great Ride. Twenty five minutes drive to central Rotorua. Base to enjoy other Rotorua attractions.

Beautiful spot

The property suited our group of 6 perfectly. Lovely setting and the house had everything we needed. The driveway was very steep but we parked the car at the bottom and walked up. Enjoyed our stay.

little piece of quiet and peacefulness

We had three lovely nights in the middle of winter, with the fire going and listening to the birdsong. amazing walks were close by, we could do as little as possible or as much as we wanted. our upstairs room with a view was my favourite chill spot.

Great bach hidden away in nature

Really nice location with heaps of green around and awesome view. Nice house with lots of space, everything was well organised and provided, the owner even prepared the woodburner to be ready to go!

Beautiful house

We loved staying in this beautiful house next to Lake Tarawera. It was the perfect place for a family getaway. We loved the wood fire and a fire guard was thoughtfully provided for our two year old. Lots of space and close to the lake for a walk and a paddle. Loved how close it was to the Blue Lake and the Redwoods where we enjoyed hiking and biking. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Lake House

A lovely spot with pretty view of the lake. It is a bit out of the way, but if you have a vehicle the peacefulness of the location is worth a longer drive. Well equipped with back up towels and kitchen supplies. Vast windows bring the outside in - pretty bird song and every morning we were visited by a small flock of very polite California Quail.

Our family had a wonderful weekend in this lovely spot! The home was clean, comfortable, and well equipped and the location is spectacular. Watching the moonrise and sunrise over the lake was a highlight! Excellent communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Thank you for a great weekend.

Nice seclulded and quiet spot, looking out over the lagoon

Property was easy to find, everything met or exceeded expectation. The driveway was a little tricky for my parents to navigate, but we did receive instructions about that in advance, host was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Awesome property in nature

This property is outside of town. Super peaceful and a beautiful setting. It’s got a rainforest feel to it. The driveway is a bit steep, but you can park our car on the bottom and take the stairs. The place itself was very clean and well equipped. I would recommend this place to my friends and family

Wonderful! Super clean, spacious, unbeatable views! Host had excellent communication and jept us updated of local lake conditions (one morning lake wasnt swimmable due to some work in the area so they let us know). Also left loads of info about where to eat and what to do. We were not able to get our minivan up the driveway, but it was not a problem to use the lower section of driveway for parking.
