Perfect for couples or solo travellers wanting a peaceful base for exploring and stargazing.



The Space:

The studio is thoughtfully laid out, combining sleeping and living in one open plan space. Large sliding doors bring in plenty of natural light and open to your private deck, where you can enjoy morning coffee with lake and church views, or unwind under Tekapo’s famous night sky. The mini kitchenette is ideal for light meals and snacks and includes a sink, microwave, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine, along with a dining table for two. There is also a wall mounted TV and a fireplace to keep things cosy in cooler months.

The Church of the Good Shepherd and the famous Tekapo Springs are nearby, along with countless stargazing spots under Tekapo’s world-renowned dark skies. A perfect base for exploring the beauty of the Mackenzie Region.



Getting Around:

🚗 Lake Tekapo is best explored by car, with most attractions just a few minutes away. The village center, lakefront, and local cafés are within a short drive or a pleasant walk from the house. There’s free parking on-site, and plenty of scenic roads nearby to explore the Mackenzie Region, including Lake Pukaki, Mount Cook, and Tekapo Springs.
