There's a restaurant on site, as well as a coffee shop/cafe and a snack bar/deli. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. Free breakfast is served daily. WiFi is free in public spaces.
There's an onsite business center. A library, a terrace, and barbecue grills are also featured at the business-friendly Jerusalem Hotel Lalibela. Self parking is free.
Smoking is allowed in designated areas at this 3-star Lalibela hotel.
This was the very worst I have experienced in a long time. Called Hotels.com to get out of that garbage hotel ⊠waiting 30â and disconnected, then over 60â to hear that since it was paid, it could not be refunded. I left after one night of fighting with mosquitoes for hours, in a bedroom that was abject, and an owner/manager that was most unresponsive. You, Hotels.com, have a responsibility to corrrctly inform your customers. You should be ashamed to recommend such a place!
The location was great--near the town center and the churches. The hotel is a bit rustic, could use some tlc, but clean.
We were never sure when the hotel restaurant was going to be open.
Would stay there again.
I had a great stay at Jerusalem hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Great views from the balcony, and a lot of birds in the garden. 15 minutes walking to the churches.
I would stay again.
Hotel offers exceptional view over the mountains west of Lalibela and invites to watch the sunset. The staff is very friendly, kind and always eager to help with guides, tours and transportation. A garden with a lot of shade makes sitting outside pleasant. The restaurant offers free breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ethiopian and western meals are freshly made out of locally sourced ingredients. For travelers seeking a lot of comfort the budget room is not a good option.
Lalibela is small yet full of things to do. Jerusalem Hotel provided all the comfort, cleaniness and location I needed for our stayed in Lalibela.
Breakfast is fantastic as they provided lots of varieties to choose from.
The service staff goes beyond expectation to give a great customer service.
I came to Lalibela for 2 nights but we ended staying an extra night and Jerusalem hotel was more than happy to acomodates us.
Hotel aceptable pero pesima relaciĂłn calidad precio,el mas caro de todo el viaje, superando a hoteles de lujo de addis abeba

No qualms. Wi-Fi worked.
I thought the hotel was sort of pricey for what I got, but that's the story with most of Ethiopia I found. The staff was very friendly and professional. There was no TV in the room, but I had my tablet so I could stream my cable TV from the US to my tablet.
We were happy to stay at Jerusalem Hotel. The room was big and clean (Ethiopian standards taken into consideration). Food was simple but fine. It is located close to the city and churches. Mosquito netting would have been nice as we had to sleep in a cave of sheets to be able to sleep. I recommend looking at the Turkuy Hotel next door that looks very nice as well. Conclusion: Good value hotel.
A very friendly and helpful staff, who helped to organise trips to see places. The rooms were big and clean, with spectacular views at sunset. The food was ok, though not exceptional. Good place to stay.
Decent hotel for the area. Very nice environ- it's nice to step out of the crowded atmosphere of the city to a pleasant courtyard with outside seats. Management makes an effort to meet needs. Note: 1. there is a charge for hotel transfer to and from airport. 2. At present (Feb 2013) the internet access is for Microsoft systems only via a mobile modem the hotel will loan you. 3. Breakfast was not buffet as advertised, but was included and consisted of a nice menu with both set items and choices.
From our window and terrace we saw wonderful sunset every day; restaurant and bar always open from early morning to night with also beer, imported wine and spirits; good breakfast with multiple choises.
