Reme is a private self-contained Cottage nestled amongst the trees on your own tranquil 10 acre property, just 2 hours from Sydney. Ideal for families or a romantic getaway, and only 25 minutes to the cellar doors of the Hunter Valley.

We offer a “home away from home” experience for up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms.

THE COTTAGE
Reme Cottage is located on a private farm with stunning tranquil views over Lambs Valley. Sit back and enjoy the space or use the Cottage as a base to visit the wineries. You can always come back after a day out and enjoy the space, a BBQ or a wine by the open fire.

Enjoy the sun-soaked outdoor area whilst watching the kids play on the park like grounds. Just sit back & relax on the deck checking out the amazing local wildlife. With Kangaroos, Kookaburras, cockatoos just to name a few.

The expansive grassed areas provides more space than you need to kick a ball around, throw a Frisbee, play cricket or for the kids to run around. In the winter months light the open fire, enjoy a hot chocolate or coffee and watch the mist roll in through the valley and bush lands.

There's even an outdoor fire pit for guests to enjoy a camping atmosphere. Be sure to bring a bag of Marshmallows to toast on the fire
 (Winter only due to bush fire risks)

Just 30mins away is the township of Branxton, the gateway to the world-renowned Hunter Valley wine country of Pokolbin and Rothbury. Here you will find shops and restaurants, supermarkets and a cafe.

ACCOMMODATION
Reme Cottage offers 1 master bedroom and a large loft area with completely private bushland views from every room . The main master bedroom is on the ground level of the Cottage.

We provide lovely fresh linen and towels (included for your stay) All beds are made up with Duvets (with covers) and have blankets and plenty of pillows.

Bed 1 : King bed (Ground level)
Bed 2 : Queen bed, in a very generous size loft room
Bed 3 : 2x Single beds in a very generous loft room
(Please note that the loft areas are adjoining, but very large and separated by a staircase)

The main bathroom is on the ground level and has a separate toilet and shower.

There are plenty of extra rugs and throws and the cottage is fully reverse cycle Air Conditioning throughout for year round comfort.

LIVING SPACE
Our huge open plan dining and kitchen area allows you to cook and mix with your friends and family, or just relax by the open fireplace in the lounge room.

A fully equipped home style kitchen with a modern stove and cooktop, setup with ample cooking accessories makes cooking with your guests very easy. The kitchen adjoins the large dining room (seating 6 persons) and joins the lounge, all looking out onto the open farm landscape.

You can relax out on our veranda and enjoy the stunning views, which is ideal for entertaining. Our outdoor table seats up to 6 guests. Or stay inside by the fire on those cool winter days. Enjoy a BBQ on the deck whilst watching the children play a game in the flat park like grassland adjoining the house.

There are books, games, magazines and outdoor toys. Children are very welcome and will love the large open flat spaces!!!

There are Internal washing machines and a ironing board, outdoor gas BBQ and outdoor table.

Our property extends to 10 acres, and covers multiple areas of farm and bush land, so your total privacy during your stay is assured.

Access is easy with a key code on the door so you don’t have the bother of picking up or dropping back keys.

Reme Cottage is a true family home, owned by a family and setup as a family home. We promise to provide you with a true home away from home experience.

This is a really lovely property. A county retreat. It is very well laid out and has some beautiful verandahs from which you can enjoy the outside. Very cosy. The kitchen works well. Will definitely consider returning. A great place for a rest and relax.

Delightful Property Nestled in Lambs Valley

We simply loved this property; the house and its surrounding grounds and the perfect spot to explore the vineyards of the Upper Hunter. The interior was spotless and very well appointed. We will be recommendeding to friends.

Lovely location

Reme Cottage is a beautiful spacious house set amongst the trees and hills of Lambs Valley . Very clean and comfortable. We used the inside fire each night which was lovely with lots of chopped wood available. It was peaceful and just what we were needing for a weekend getaway. The beds were comfortable, the loft area was great . Overall, it was beyond our expectations and Richard was great to communicate with. The only drawback would be if you have anyone with you that can't live without the internet .. you need to be on telstra to avoid meltdowns ;) but for us adults it was pe rfect!

Light and airy. So very very clean. Heaps of firewood and very easy to use the property well. Lovely sunny spots for a coffee or lunch. Beds comfy. Only issue is that an ash scoop for the fireplace would be handy. Loved it

Spacious & comfortable property with tasteful furnishings set in a glorious garden - fantastic! It’s a drive to everything so you need to take what you want or be prepared to drive into town everyday, but we loved it! Sunshine on the verandah in the mornings listening to the birds, brilliant.

Serene beauty

This beautiful property was the perfect option for our girls weekend. Close enough to home but far enough away for the perfect getaway. The property is comfortable and adequately equipped with a cosy fireplace, quiet location, and good views. There was no mobile reception but that was perfect to truly switch off and enjoy the peace & quiet and good times with friends. We will certainly return.

A very lovely home

Beautiful property in the valley. We had everything we needed and we had hoped for. Especially peace and quiet. Extra plus for the amazing shower(s) and nice smelling soaps! Excellent communication with the host Richard. He was very helpful when we thought we were stuck in the valley due to floods. We made it out just fine in the end.

Rural relaxation

We enjoyed the relaxed comfort of this rural property. With nothing to do and no wifi, kids made there own fun in the great outdoors. A short drive to the vineyards is handy if the boredom gets too much. The indoor and outdoor fires left us with plenty of night time entertainment.

Beautiful location

This place is fantastic and has everything you'd want for a peaceful, relaxing stay. The cottage was spotless and the gardens and surrounds were georgous. The place has no Wi-Fi and only Telstra coverage but that just added to the experience. We especially enjoyed our wine and cheese by the outdoor fire pit. Will definitely be back.

Gorgeous home in spectacular lambs valley. We are group of close friends just needing to getaway and relax and this place definitely ticked all boxes. Great fire place, open planned area and deck space to catch some sun. Only downside is the lack of privacy due to loft style bedrooms but this was easily overlooked. Thank you 😊

Beautiful house in a picturesque location

Richard was very accommodating allowing us to host our daughter’s 1st birthday on site. It’s a wonderful place to stay, very comfortable and relaxing for a getaway plus lots of roos to see! All essentials provided for self catering but no wifi and only Telstra mobile phone reception
