Was a quaint little house although there were a couple areas that could have been a little cleaner, ie bathroom doors, refrigerator handles, had to replace a light bulb over the island, cobwebs in the lights, but all in all, a comfortable place to stay. If you are tall, be prepared to duck comimg up from the basement, in the shower, and in front of the mirror.

Photos make areas look bigger. We are 65 to 71 years old and steep stairs are almost impossible. Heads banged several times along with a chance of falling. Where are the smoke detectors?

The kitchen needs more cooking utensils. Tongs and a spatula, more mugs. Tell the guests which door has the code box. Other then that it is a lovely house, very comfortable.

Great location, main floor comfortable & clean. Plenty of parking in driveway. House is old & creaks; no bathroom on main floor; stairs to lower level has low overhang so anyone over 5' 3" needs to be careful; we had some head bumps (a bumper may be helpful). Upstairs bathroom shower doors, sink and rug can use a cleaning. Upstairs shower drains slowly & can use some Drano. 1 AC unit so upstairs can get warm. Light bulbs at top of the stairs on the 2nd floor were out making it dangerous to go up & down the steep stairs at night. Beds softer than we prefer. Lower level (where other bathroom was) was a tad creepy.

The property was very clean and simplistic. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I wish I had known or thought to ask about was the location of the two bathrooms. We had 2 guests of elderly age and the bathroom locations were not easily accessible. There were also a lot of steps that made it challenging. The host was very quick to respond to requests and great to communicate with!

Highly Recommend!

We had a great stay at this property during a recent volleyball tournament for my daughter. The house was clean, offered plenty of space, had nice amenities, and was conveniently located to everywhere we needed to be. The hosts were accommodating and even shoveled the driveway for us following asnow storm. recommendproperty!

Great Christmas Family Holiday Location

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful and cozy home for our family Christmas holiday. It was wonderful!! It was just the right amount of space and the kids loved it. It was very spacious and we had enough space for all of us. We were able to make our meals in the spacious kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Home away from home

The house is in a perfect location to everything Lancaster has to offer! We are seasoned Lancaster travelers and the house checked off all of our boxes. Newley updated it’s perfect for a nice weekend get away. Only downside is if you’re tall you may have a challenge navigating in the house. Beds are super comfy! There were some things that could have had more attention when cleaning but nothing that hindered our trip.

Lancaster Visit

We had a wonderful stay in Lancaster. The property met all our needs and was quite comfortable. We cooked many of our meals in the spacious kitchen. The dining and living rooms were large and comfortable.
