I would have given 4 stars in every category if it wasn't for this one thing. I could not find any smoke detector in our room. The room was freshly renovated and looked nice. Everything was clean. The staff was kind and helpful. But i was uncomfortable knowing that there wasn't a smoke detector in our room.

Clean but a bit noisy

The room was nice and clean - it's been recently renovated. But the room was the farthest thing from sound proof. You could hear the horse and buggies going past even though you're pushed back from the road. Someone was playing music in the morning and you could hear it through the walls. It wasn't the worst and I've definitely been to worse inns but it was annoying when trying to fall asleep.

We opened the door and saw that the floor had dirt all over. The sheets were either stained or dirty. The towels looked like they were used as grease rags.

Where to begin! I was arriving early and tried to call ahead to see if I can check in 15 min before check in time (which I usually never have an issue with any of my stays doing this) but every time I called no one answered the phone. Even so I still arrived 15 min early to check in and the man up front was rude and made me wait in my car until 3pm- mind you, this was just after horrible snowy and icy weather. So sitting in the cold in my car for 15 min was insane. So I waited and then checked in at 3pm but when I got into my room the floor was dirty and unswept. There was an opened orange Gatorade still in the fridge! And the sheets and towels had mild stains on them as if they were not washed properly. Also the conditioner bottle they have hanging in the shower was broken and when I went to use it the conditioner squirted out of the lid seal towards my face instead of squirting down into my hand. The toilet paper rolls were not stocked as one roll was half used in the bathroom as well. Also I feel as if the front desk man was stalking me because he said my partners name and there’s no way he would of known that because my name along with a guest was on the hotel room. I just felt weird and unsafe and I stayed there for 3 nights. And to be treated with such little care was a poor reflection on the inns part.

Good stay. Recommened

This is very good family-run business. The rooms were recently renovated and are quite nice. The bed and facilities are comfortable. We stayed 5 nights. It is on a local highway and there is frequent car and truck traffic, as well horse and buggys as this in the middle of Amish country, however the traffic is not constant. We slept well.

A wondeful hotel at a great price

This hotel was absolutelt amazing. Beautifully remodeled and maintained, the hotel was perfectly clean and made for a wonderful night's stay. I will definitely stay there again the next time i am in the area.

they do offer breakfasts like waffles, fruits, cereal, juice, milk n coffee..tats all... the bed sheets has some stains and some dirts n sand on the bed... im wondering if they change bed sheets ? if do... why so dirty ?

The room updates were an improvement over the previous decor, but there are still some issues. Firstly the way it was recovering in hand prints as much as, which should be cleaned by housekeeping along with the white shower bottom (bleach and elbow grease go a long way). The mini fridge froze everything, so it needs a revamp. If I hadn't notice, I would have had busted soda canceled over the fridge. Housekeeping is done every 3 days unless requested more frequently, but I was only given enough towels for 2 days. Someone needs to learn how to count. I called for more towels on my second day and reported the broken toilet seat. When I return, I had additional towels on washcloss on the spare bed (not the amount I asked for, so again, someone needs to learn how to count), and the toilet seat was down but still not fixed. The pamphlet in the room claims the quality and has plush blankets, pillows, and salt beds. Nope. The beds are hard, the pillows are flat, and the blankets are thin. The toilet is a standard round one, so gentleman, be cautious when using it. Considering the handprint, smudges and dingy shower bottom, One can only wonder about the cleanliness of the toilet (protect the Johnson). The bathroom is too small for an oval toilet, but that would have made a significant difference. When they refurbish the room, they should have extended the wall by 6 in to accommodate an oval toilet. Check in and check out we're slow.

I wanted to cancel this booking but Expedia was/is unable to get ahold of the hotel to try to see what they were able to do. Google reviews were way worse than Expedia reviews. Drove past this hotel on our travels and so glad we chose not to stay here. It looks very sketchy!
