The hotel was clean and contemporary. It was sea facing and situated quite nicely to the best sunset view, fire show, food and shopping. The prices in Langkawi are much more reasonable. The hotel wasn't secluded, and I couldn't have picked a better hotel in langkawi. The hotel extended our check out till 2pm, which meant we could sleep in, rest, and feel more relaxed. Thank you, Mecure hotel.

We enjoyed staying here. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Special mention to Zaini who always had a friendly smile and assisted with booking a tour and making our stay just that more enjoyable with his helpfulness. The reception staff arranged an upgraded room after having problems with the door lock of our initial room. Housekeeping, ground staff and restaurant staff all do an excellent job. We also liked the hotel being set back off the business of the Main Street. A nice vibe around the beautiful pool and bar, we recommend the Mercure as a lovely place to stay.

Mercure is so close to everthing beach, shopping, restaurants, massages places etc The staff are so friendly and always smiling The pool is so big and there is a children’s section of the pool too Plenty of lounges around the pool too My room was super clean and it had toothbrushes and earbuds, shampoo, conditioner and body wash The air finder was spot on and the the air water pressure was amazing The room was cleaned daily but not until the afternoon and I would have to call house keeping to get them to come Other than that it was perfect I was a solo traveller and felt very safe

We were given a room that was not as shown on Hotels.com facing a brick wall. We complained to front desk and after us not accepting the room we were moved to a different room. Isena at the front desk was so nice and very apologetic. Breakfast was average. Staff very good. Free drink when checking in.

The hotel is a short walk to Chenang Beach and numerous shops and restaurants. It’s close enough for the convenience, but far enough away from the tourist traffic to offer a quiet, peaceful stay. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the Rice Garden restaurant offers good dining choices for dinner and snacks. The rooms are spacious and well designed and the shower and bathroom area are pleasantly modern. The hotel is very family friendly and we felt well taken care of by the kind and helpful staff. We would definitely stay at the Mercure if we visit Langkawi again.

The location of the property was perfect—very close to the beach and plenty of food options. However, we had booked a two-bedroom unit, but it wasn’t available upon arrival. Instead, we were moved to a single-bedroom setup, forcing the third person to sleep on a makeshift bed that was uncomfortable and too short. Anyone taller than 5’8” would likely struggle to fit on it.

Nice hotel and comfortable rooms. The swimming pool is good and hotel in excellent location for Cenang Beach (about 4 minute walk). Breakfast is average but many choices. Staff is excellent!!

A nice hotel in a good area. Very friendly staff and clean throughout. The only drawback with this hotel is noise. The corridors on the guest room floors are tiled, as are the guest rooms. Other guests were extremely noisy at times, particularly the evenings, and as the noise carries it was hard to get a good nights sleep sadly. Otherwise, a nice visit.

Rooms were good, beds comfortable, staffs friendly and ready to assist. Breakfast was excellent at Rice Garden. There were a few maintenance issues like water clogging in wash basin, tv remote not working, door card was not working at times. However staff immediately assisted to resolve issues. We booked for two Delux Double rooms. The rooms were on the other side of the GF even upon request placed during booking to give us rooms next to each other. Sofa bed was provided instead of single bed in the rooms. These were later changed upon request. Overall the experience was very good. Loved the lounge and pool area. There was always a pleasant breeze in these areas at all times which made us unwind and relax. 99island bar and service was great.
