St Leonard's is a gem of a place in Largs. Keith and his family's guest house offer the best experience one can dream of, especially when first visiting Largs or North Ayrshire. The whole guest house is the cleanest you can dream of, all recently renovated, with a feel-like-home vib about it. You literally get a 4-star service from your host and the place. I can only recommend the breakfast experience too, with the most delicious fresh fruits and mint from the garden. Absolutely superb. Thank you Keith - I wish I could have stayed over for a full week. The area is superb! Congratulations.
Originally booked for one night as we hadn’t used this Guest House before but happily booked an additional night after our warm welcome on arrival and seeing the interior. The standard of cleanliness is exceptional better than most 5* properties we’ve visited. Keith is the perfect host he goes above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay and our room was perfect it had all the facilities required and some. The little added extras were a lovely touch and totally unexpected for the low rates charged. Breakfast was plentiful lots of fresh fruit bowls, yogurt, cereals and hot croissants on offer before the cooked breakfasts arrived. The quality of produce made for a delicious hot breakfast and a stop off at Keith’s butcher on the way home! The small outside space has been made the most of.. again everything you need. I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon reading in the sunshine listening to the bees buzzing around blissful… thanks Lia 🌺 We look forward to returning and highly recommend.

This is a great guest house and who includes breakfast anymore?? My cousin and I stayed for one night and our room was very warm, cozy, and the owner made us very welcome. He went above and beyond with breakfast the next morning and cooked up custom meals for each of us! I would definitely stay here again since it is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the Largs train station, and who doesn’t love excellent hospitality and service?! Highly recommended

Absolutely fantastic stay. Keith, the owner, is incredibly friendly and offers a great breakfast. Would happily stay here again. Great location near train station, bus stops and supermarket. Also very quiet inside room.
Staying here you will receive the friendliest of welcomes to a very professionally run Bed and Breakfast. This is a pristine clean, top notch place to stay in Largs. 5 minutes walk from the Train station, 10 mins walk to the harbour. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful and always served with a warm greeting in the morning. Comfortable and relaxing surroundings to make you feel at home.
Keith was a wonderful host, friendly, fun and a wealth of local knowledge. Our room was very comfortable and clean and we got an excellent night’s sleep that cured our jet lag.

Situated close to the high street, with roughly a 10 minute walk to seafront or roughly a 5 minute walk to station if wanting to do hour train ride to Glasgow.
Proprietor, Keith was friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. He provided many choices for our breakfasts and the food was great. The property is maintained immaculately.
