2nd floor, no elevator, 71 yo husband had to haul suitcase up. Room was old and not clean, stains on bedspread, old food in the fridge. Had to go to office for shampoo and soap. Would have left but we were exhausted.

The breakfast was fresh, delicious hot coffee, and a nice clean eating area. Parking was easy and well lit for safety. Near freeway so one should always be cautious. Quick access to a Walmart supermarket was an added plus.

Yes The room was very clean and the staff was great.My neighboring guests: however,were very inconsiderate and rude when we would get back to our room at the end of the day-we could not park anywhere near our room-they were even using extra parking spaces to set up an outdoor "picnic table" This occurred each night of our stay.

Overall for the price I paid, it was a good room. The bathroom and fixtures were very dated, but one should expect that at this price point. More importantly, everything was CLEAN and worked. The front desk was very friendly upon check-in, and again when I checked out. I would have given this hotel 4 stars, had it not been for the bed mattress. I think it was 20 years old, and had no firmness left in it. I was tired after 15 hours on the road, so I did sleep like a rock but the mattress made me feel as if I were at summer camp. If I were to make one suggestion for improvement, it would be to replace out the mattresses. Other than that, it was what I needed for a night's rest and a hot shower.

The facilities are not merely aging; they have received multiple landlord specials. I don't mind an older room, bu this facility simply felt unclean. Without adequate ventilation, the bathroom was musty. There were mosquitoes in the room in the middle of winter. The heater was so loud and smelled so bad I turned it off immediately, because I was scared there would be a fire. I don't think the bed linens were cleaned from the previous guest. The pillowcases had many hairs on them. I didn't want to sleep on the sheets, so I grabbed a sleeping bag from my vehicle. When you look at other reviews, there are multiple instances at this facility of uncleanliness and pest problems. If you're looking for the cheapest place to stay with an included breakfast, this might suit your needs. The next time I visit Las Cruces, I'll be looking elsewhere.

I would have given 2 stars or even 1 if it wasn't for the amazing staff. I bruned myself and they were giving me burn cream and bandages. I was able to get extra towels right away as ice had melted in a few of them. They answered all my questions with maturity and care. They were impressive. The place is old, run down, loud and the mattress was simply, sad.
