Experience the perfect blend of country charm and Hocking Hills adventure at the Tenant House at Muddy Boots Petting Farm. Conveniently located just minutes from many of the area's most popular hiking trails, parks, and attractions, our home is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.

Enjoy a peaceful farm stay where the front porch overlooks the petting farm, offering a front-row seat to the sights and sounds of country life. Unwind on the private back porch, gather around the fire ring in the evening, and enjoy a slower pace surrounded by nature.

The Tenant House comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests with 3 queen beds and 2 full beds. Inside you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, including complimentary Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with a range, refrigerator, cookware, dishes, utensils, a Keurig coffee maker (a variety pack of cups provided), and a traditional drip coffee maker. While we do not provide food or beverages, a full-service grocery store is just a short drive away.

Bathrooms are stocked with towels and washcloths, and we take pride in providing a clean, comfortable home where families and friends can make lasting memories.

Additional Guests

The home accommodates up to 10 guests. Up to 5 additional guests may be added for $65 per person, per night, with arrangements made directly with the owner at check-in.

During our farm season (May through October), guests are welcome to enjoy Muddy Boots Petting Farm throughout their stay. Purchase a one time admission, and you'll enjoy unlimited return visits for the duration of your stay during our regular operating hours.

Everything! This was an absolutely marveleous place to stay. The animals, the scenery, the house were all just great. I was with my adult children and my sister, and we all had a wonderful time. The host let us watch her feed the owl and we were all so excited and took lots of pictures. It was an amazing visit!!!

It was an awesome place to stay. Lots of animals around specially kids will love it. Only the thing that they need to improve is the Wi-Fi connection is very poor in the house. Other than that this is the best place to stay.

Ladies weekend away!

This was an AMAZING experience! Muddy Boots is a very peaceful and entertaining property! The tenant house was very clean and spacious! The farm animals were very well cared for and the dogs that would visit daily were absolutely wonderful and very friendly! I would highly recommend this property and plan to visit again in the future!

We have stayed here a couple of times and always enjoy it! The property and house are beautiful and very well laid out, you can tell the owner takes great care of everything especially the animals, they are part of the family!! Highly recommend and can't wait wait to go back!!!

Great Family weekend

This was the best weekend with family. The boys ages 3 & 5 loved feeding all the animals. The farm was perfect. The house was very clean and comfortable. The Hocking Hills were so close we enjoyed walks and exploring together. Thanks for a Perfect Family Getaway :)
